I think you are truly being selfish holding onto that many offers. You need to make a list and rank them and let go of something. You are holding onto spots that people are waiting for. People who don't have any accpetances and are waiting for your spots.

For the record, I was not being arrogant. Since I have already accepted an offer from another program and many universities have a literal "withdraw application" button on their portals, one might understand the well-intentioned nature of inquiring about taking my name out of the hat. 

I guess this is a lesson not to count your chickens before they hatch. It appears I was wait listed for the Harvard History and East Asian Languages program. As I am now on two wait lists, there is now lots of waiting to do apparently.

U they did their undergrad in the US but they are international students
