I'm single, and I'm looking for a place with a lot of nightlife. I will sacrifice space for safety. As long as I can have my own bedroom, I will be happy. I am willing to commute up to half an hour everyday (one way, 1 hour total everyday). Is it possible to live anywhere for under $800/month without living in a closet?
Thanks so much for responding to me!
I've never done well on GREs, SATs, or any standardized tests -- but I've done a thesis in my undergrad, presented at a huge Anthro conference, etc, and I think that's a better reflection of my potential for success than any dumb test.
Merr, I don't know. I received a short email telling me that I was accepted and the acceptance packet will be coming shortly. I haven't received it yet, so I can't tell you anything.
That's pretty much how I feel about universities in New York. High tuition + high cost of living = Eating ramen at every meal and sharing a room. I need my privacy and small luxuries, thank you. All I ask is enough so I can have my own bedroom and money to explore one of the greatest cities in the world.
