  1. floor plan
  2. One of my schools updated my financial aid info, but there's some quirky stuff with it. This finally gave me a legitimate reason to contact the program without having to inquire about my status. Maybe they'll include that information in their response. Between graduation, not hearing from anywhere, homework, etc., my nerves are just about shot. There should be a post-application season rehab program.
  3. Some of us are still dreaming of being accepted at all. Two acceptances is great, you're very fortunate.
  4. If you're definitely going to send it, I'd suggest that you give it until April. See if you hear anything by then, and if not, I would only send them the part expressing your interest and intent to attend. You already asked them your status once, so just let them know that you're still interested and you'll accept an offer if one is made. That's what I'd do anyway, see what other people say.
  5. Congrats! Superstition aside, I hope you're right. I'd really like to start planning instead of worrying.
  6. Same here. On the upside the reality of graduation in < 6 weeks is setting in, which is giving me something else to anticipate.
  7. Definitely trying to take it easy, definitely not having much luck. With the 4/15 deadline agreement for US schools, I'm starting to get really nervous. Spring Break ended last week, there's only 3 weeks left until the aforementioned deadline. I've got a mixture of terror and hopefulness regarding the lack of a decision. Knowing that I'm definitely not a first round pick, I'm not surprised that I didn't hear back in early Feb (though that didn't stop me from checking, haha). I really did think I would know more than I do by now, though. The bright side is that I haven't seen any admissions either way for most of the programs to which I applied, so I am assuming (read: desperately hoping) they're just slow this year.
  8. explicit formula
  9. They just figure out what the decisions are and hang out laughing at everyone else. Given some of the physicists I know, that's exactly what they would do. Haha.
  10. Well, that's probably gonna happen anyway. I have a good shrink.
  11. That'd make me transform to Hercules.
  12. Lol ... time won't now emit ... lol
  13. hot fuss
  14. Heh, at this point it's more like, "HELP ME!"
  15. The perpetual: "no news is good news." Thanks, actually, no news is just no news.
  16. Yeah, the waiting has really worn me down. I guess I put too much stock in the expected time frame for decisions. Now I'm tired and worried, although this week being Spring Break has really helped. I definitely checked everything a lot less frequently.
  17. Indeed, with April being a week away, I'm really starting to get nervous.
  18. Coffee shop patron: What are you studying? Me: I'm studying for a math exam in two hours. Coffee shop patron: *long diatribe about chaotic systems in simple circuits* Me: I'm studying for a math exam in two hours. Coffee shop patron: Are you working on a masters? Me: No, I'm still waiting to hear back from graduate schools. Coffee shop patron: You should study chaotic systems in... Me: I'm studying for a math exam in less than two hours. Coffee shop patron: Chaos... Me:
  19. You say this, but it's been raining and cold since yesterday. Not to worry, though, just try not to swallow any bees, apparently that happens more often than bikers care to admit.
  20. What do y'all plan to do if it gets to be April and you still haven't heard back (aside from hyperventilating)?
  21. stupid simultaneous entries. sleeping cranes
  22. place value
  23. Mine is just a risk for them in general. One that I hope someone's willing to take, as I plan on rewarding that program with fantastic work.
  24. You are more of a dork than me. I didn't think this was possible.
