That really surprises me! Seeing as there is approx 40 spots in the Western program, I wonder what prompted them to allow 100 people to be on a waitlist position. I feel as though that's just giving false hope to applicants, and almost shows a lack of confidence in their own program.

yeah ? I'm not sure if it's the same number of people on the list this year but they did accept around 50-55 people last year and almost half the class was off the waitlist so there's still hope!

Had originally accepted U of T's offer, but was offered admission to McGill yesterday so I have cancelled my acceptance to Toronto and have accepted McGill!
