Some scholarship offices share this information with students/supervisors but this is more of an exception than a norm. I just emailed my department and asked, and they told me that the grad office informed them last Thursday that they hear "soon," but still nothing as of yet.

I've honestly had a bad experience in my lab and recently decided I will no longer be staying, so I hope I do NOT win this award and it'll go to someone more deserving. I'm just ready to rip off the bandaid at this point!

They also mentioned to share the results and ranking with them. My NSERC status still states "recieved". It looks like that I haven't won. Good luck to everyone!

Ie the page where it says “received” is obsolete now, the results will be released in a new portal that we have not been given access to yet theknittingacademic, Albd and timeforschool 1 2

Expand People from previous years have said that the "received" status never changes and has no correlation with your result. So, I wouldn't use that to say you didn't get it! Albd 1

You will receive an email to login to Extranet(read not the place you submitted), and a letter will be waiting there detailing if you received the award or not.

Last year my letter took about 24 hours after the letters started to go out to appear. timeforschool 1

Basically there’s nothing you can do but wait for the email from NSERC about setting up extranet account, and then there will be some more waiting after that. At 2 points today I actually saw what looked like results in the "PGS D/CGS D" section of my extranet portal for students who are not me... (the link text was their email address, when I clicked it I got an "Access denied" message). It was really weird and leads me to think they might be having a problem with their systems. I hope it doesn't delay the results if so.
