Congratulations! That is awesome. Did you interview?

I'm stoked, definitely high on my list! I did have an interview.

Has anyone actually gotten into Duke today, or are they all rejections? I got a notification too but the stupid portal is so hard to login to.

Waitlisted but at this point I'm happy about even that

How did you check that? I haven't received anything from them yet!

I got an email to check my portal and instead of the third link (rescind[?] your application, or some such) there was an option to 'View Decision' and a letter saying I was waitlisted. Good luck! I know the process of waiting is so nerve-wracking...

Ah I see, congrats to them! No word for me, which definitely sucks.

Thanks! And it's still early—I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Good luck!

Just got into Indiana! Funding to come.

Yeah, I'm curious too because I'm nervous since I applied there as well. If it's staggered then that's fine, but I've learned to look at everything from a pessimist's point of view.

Was the email from a POI?

The email was from one of their admin staff.

Looks like Indiana rejection for me then.......

I'm honestly wondering why I'm even still breathing at this point.

Sorry, there are two parallel discussion happening right now: one about Indiana and one about UCLA. My post was about UCLA.

Good luck! Hang in there.

Tim Hellwig is the DGS. Is she just on the admissions committee?

How long ago?

I'm assuming these e-mails are automated, so, unfortunately, I believe it's safer to assume rejection.

Looks like I'm going to strike out and contemplate life before dying as a dry husk in the desert.

Yeah, I've realized this as well. Either she's a POI or this is a really elaborate troll on his part.

What's interesting to me is that Indiana doesn't normally send out acceptances this early.

I mean he also claimed UGA admit where I can't find any other person who got into Georgia so far...

Forgive me, but I'm a bit skeptical about this person's claims.
