  1. That's true. I mean I can't imagine staying army current job for forever just to be married. I also can't imagine not going back to school (probably because the picture is slowly coming together) but idk I mean I can't see ever being in a position where someone would make me pick between school or them. I don't think I would resent them if they did I mean I want the family life, I want a career too but you know people do it all the time where they start families first and then go back to school. Of course it's difficult but you just have to be dedicated. My therapist did it and her life seems awesome. I think having the family foundation would be better than the professional one, but at the same time what I am going back to school for is kind of like... Life experience is important so there are people in the program I'm sure who picked family first over school, then I'm sure there are people like me who went straight from school to school to more school. Idk I mean I like that if I stay single or unattached I can move post graduation. I am going to school ok my home state and after graduating I want to move to Kentucky so much or TN or someplace in the South. So there are positives I assume. (Would much rather be a wife and mother but.. Hey in due time I guess)
  2. More than likely yes. I think that's pretty expected from me though. If I had a SO who said that I had to pick him, marriage and babies or school... I would likely try to compromise (whatever that entails) but I would lean towards the family life. School will forever be around but if you find someone who loves you and wants a family that might not last. I think you can have both but in my current mental space I would pick the guy.

Well I'm starting the 24 day challenge it's supposed to be more of a kick off to a cleaner eating lifestyle. I'm just going to try to workout more and make it a daily routine, and eat better. More salads and less chipotle I guess lol

  4. Lol I was joking, I just figured a funny response would be better than a rude one. Anyways I think that if you're on a travel forum and you mention that you are traveling somewhere and happen to find someone else going to the same place I don't see a problem with getting to know them and maybe hanging out wherever you decide to travel. Idk but I don't even think a dating site like that exists I think that person above was just trying to be funny lol
  5. Never went to Panama City for spring break, never pulled an all nighter, never been to Coachella (which is popular among my friends) idk I'm sure there is more that I haven't done
  6. I can't wait until it's warm out again so I can walk the trails

  7. And what would that website be? I'm always looking to snag a man ok?!
  8. I made a topic somewhat similar to this, someone mentioned that there are forums that have other people traveling and you can possibly meet up with them
  9. Ugh Mondays lol. I think I pretty much strongly dislike everyone I work with. So not feeling it today

  14. So this is random but I was thinking about getting a souvenir from the schools I applied to. It was only 4 programs. I just want to remember it, I decided on a program and I just want to remember the others. I want maybe a hoodie or a mug? Has anyone else kind of done something similar? I just feel happy that I made it through the process I remember being terrified and luckily everything worked out well:)

  18. Well back to hating life again. I don't feel like doing anything school related, or work related or just anything in general. I want to just stay in bed and never get up ever again.

you should probably seek professional help, especially before a stressful situation like grad school

I am in therspy. I know but I'm not going to hold off on grad school because I can't cope with how shitty my life is in every other aspect

Just because all that good stuff happened doesn't make up for the other bad stuff.

  19. I feel like you're being kind of harsh. I mean I agree people should try to be healthier but it is kind of mean to make someone feel like shit for something I'm sure they wish they could change. It is easy to say work out and eat healthy but healthy food is more expensive than unhealthy. I'm not trying to jump down your throat I just feel bad that someone might feel like crap about something they can't help. Been there, done that, it breaks you down a little.
  20. I can actually relate to that having a disability, some school or just less handicap friendly. My undergrad school was a commuter friendly school so I was always able to park and walk a few feet to my classes. The grad schools I have applied to don't have that and it is hard for me to walk far distances, I can do it but it might take longer. I wish more campuses were handicap friendly
  21. I actually won't but thanks for the concern Hey maybe I will change it again! Yay me
