During my undergrad I worked with this company, Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, that provides services for adults with Autism. I basically helped my clients with their chores, took them grocery shopping, went out to dinner, got them out in the community for social events and things like that. It was a rewarding and easy way to earn some spending money! Basically you get paid to hang out with these awesome people! Personally, I found it way less stressful than waitressing. I live in PA so I'm not sure if there is anything like that in NY but it may be worth a look. Hope this helps!

I'm currently deciding between 2 programs, a M.S and a M.A. I'm not sure I understand the true difference between the two (if there are any). I'm assuming M.A is more education/kids focused and M.S is more medical based but I'm not sure if this is true. Is one better/worse to have?? If anyone has any information, please let me know!

Hey everyone! I've been accepted to a school (Salus University) that is a "candidate for accreditation" because it is a brand new program. The admissions staff told me they will be fully accredited in a few years and graduating before they were accredited would not cause any issues in my future. However, i'm still worried. I don't want to encounter any problems getting certified because of their accreditation status. If anyone knows any info or goes/went to a school that was not yet accredited, please let me know!

I'm attempting to decide between West Chester and Salus University and I'm having a hard time. I'm interested in medical SLP but I heard West Chester is more focused on schools and children, which would make Salus a perfect fit. HOWEVER, WC is cheaper and accredited (Salus is a brand new program). It also is a closer commute. If anyone has information about West Chesters program please let me know!!

I have a Skype interview with the University of Louisville next week!! Has anyone interviewed with them before and can let me know what types of questions were asked?
