    Hi! I was also accepted to NYU and NYMC and am considering TC Columbia (if I get accepted). I'm having a lot of trouble choosing between the schools, though! How did you make your decision? What are some of the pros and cons of attending each of those schools, in your opinion? I'd really love to hear your input!!

    I was just accepted in the NYU on-campus program! Question -- How soon do you think I need to pay the deposit? Will they hold my spot even if I don't pay until the deadline in April? Any insight would be much appreciated!

    Hi all! Does anyone know whether we need to have achieved a minimum grade in the ASHA core courses (biological science, physical science, behavioral science and statistics)? In particular, I'm applying to NYU, New York Medical College (NYMC) and TC Columbia. Does anyone know if these schools have a cutoff grade for those ASHA courses? Thanks in advance!

    Hey guys! Does anyone know of an easy online Physical Science course? I'm not very good at science and want to complete my prereq this summer, prior to starting a Master's program in Fall 2018! Any help would be very very much appreciated!

    Does anyone know how the TSSLD works -- specifically for TC Columbia, NYC and New York Medical College? I've heard we need to have taken courses in these subjects: Math, Science, History, English, and Foreign Language But, do we need to have taken courses in ALL of those subjects? Or is it enough to have just taken one or two? Also, would statistics count as a math course? Any insight would be much appreciated!

    Question -- do we NEED to do the academic update? I took a course this fall, which theoretically I can update on CSDCAS. I also have a couple new courses I'm planning to take. Do I have to do the update? Or, can I just leave it as is?

    Hi fellow SLP applicants! I just got my scores back for the GRE, and luckily I did well on verbal and writing, but math wasn't too amazing. I'm wondering if I should redo the GRE because of it. I got 161 on verbal (88th percentile), 150 on math (38th percentile) and 4.5 on writing (82nd percentile). I have a cumulative GPA of 3.76 (although CSDCAS calculated it as a 3.97), about 150 hours of volunteering in SLP clinics (with kids with apraxia and adults with aphasia), about 400 hours of general volunteering (working with people with special needs, kids, people with Alzheimer's) and about 200 hours of research experience. I'm applying to Columbia, NYU and New York Medical College. Do you guys think it's worth it to retake the GRE since my math percentile isn't excellent? Do you think I'll still have a chance at getting into those schools if not? It's getting pretty down to the wire to retake the test and I'm pretty nervous! I would really appreciate any advice! Thanks in advance

    Hi! I didn't know that NYU offered an SLP program that begins in January! Would you be able to post a link to that program? Do you know of any other New York SLP Master's programs that start in January? I appreciate your help!

    Question about calculating our subGPAs for ORPAS: ORPAS requires us to sumbit our marks from our last 20 course lengths. For me, I know my first 14 course lengths will come from this current semester's marks, all of last year's marks, and my marks from the summer semester before that. However, my last 6 course lengths will need to be extracted from the year before that (2015/2016). I took 2 full year courses that year, as well as 1 half year course in Fall semester and 3 half year courses in second semester. Does anyone understand which marks I should use when calculating my subGPA? Like should I take my average from the entire year of 2015/2016, or should I just use my winter courses and then only average my marks from the fall semester? Any help would be very very much appreciated!
