Hello, No, I was not invited for an interview nor have I heard anything from them. I have not received any type of notifications from CSUF unlike the other schools. Definitely not going to USC as the tuition is ridiculous.

Hello, I have heard back from 5 of the 6 schools I applied to but am still waiting for CSUF. I applied back in January! I might be being pessimistic, but i'm thinking if I haven't heard anything by now, I didn't get in :( I just want to get a notification already!

I emailed CSUF yesterday and was told they are hoping to have all letters out by mid-May :/ The wait is so excruciating!

Hello everyone, I applied back in early January and was rejected on March 21 I have been accepted to USC, CSULA, and CSUDH and am waiting on CSUF and CSULB. Congratulations to all who have gotten in! -
I was just rejected from UCLA today I have been accepted to USC, CSUDH, and CSULA at this time. Still waiting on LB and Fullerton. My top pick was UCLA but now I am unsure as that will not be happening... I am discouraged about Fullerton and LB as I have not heard anything from then... What is your top pick?

Hello everyone, I applied to CSULA, CSULB, CSUF, CSUDH, UCLA, and USC. I am waiting to hear back from CSUF, CSULB, and UCLA. How are you guys making decisions on where to go?

I definitely hear good things s about CSULB but I personally am not too worried about the school, as long as I graduate and get the degree. I do hear good things about CSULA for internship opportunities as the location provides many diverse choices. My top choice is UCLA but the commute will be terrible haha

Does anyone's status for CSULA state "incomplete" in the portal? I hand delivered my application and was given a receipt stating all my forms were submitted.

Congratulations! What a wonderful dilemma to have I applied to CSULB and CSULA also for Fall 2018. I have heard great things about both schools so it is definitely a tough decision. The communications issues definitely worry me as well as I have had similar problems with some of the other schools I have applied to. What are some of your biggest reasons for wanting to go to one school or another? Is CSULB very far from your home? Are you part time or full time? I am anxiously waiting for some good news!

I applied pretty close to the January deadline and just received an email stating my application has been received by the School of Social Work for CSULB.

I am anxiously waiting too... I get so excited every time I get an email but of course, not the one I was waiting for haha

Has anyone received letters from any CA schools yet? I saw some people who have gotten their acceptance letter from CSULB already. The wait is seriously so agonizing!

I pretty much did this during my undergrad (going early, staying late, living in the library or cafe) and it was doable! Of course I was jealous of the people who had apartments or dorms 10mins from school but I felt that having nothing to do but study made me more productive!

Oh, haha thank you for clarifying! I was accepted to USC for Fall 2017 but deferred until Fall 2018 (had to submit a new personal statement & resume) thinking I would attend if I didn't get in anywhere else. But I decided that the cost of tuition would not be worth it for me in the long run. I am so anxious for letters! -
Commuting is definitely a big strain on considering what to do. I commuted to a job that was 20miles away but was a 3 hour trip round trip ? As much as I would go to the closest school I am accepted to, I have always wanted to go to UCLA so I think I would do what it takes to make it happen. Are you planning on working during the MSW program?

Hello BackNSchool83, I have been browsing this website for updates regarding the 2018 cycle but as you have stated, I feel like the forums are a bit quiet this year. I applied to six schools and only heard back from one so far (USC). I have my fingers crossed for UCLA! What is a bump app? thank you!
