So, Boston University rejected me yesterday. Interview or no interview, don’t think I’ll get accepted to UMich if I can’t get in BU. ?

My email say by the end of Feb. Another person who went to the info session said priority deadline will hear by mid Feb (today????).

Everything was in by 1/15, I think it’s rolling admissions.

They emailed me last week to set up an interview. Earliest 27 Feb.

Thank you for reply, I want to do clinical as well. I’m not advanced standing, but I did submit my application by the priority deadline. Crossing my fingers! Are you definitely going to BU? It’s my home state. I’ve been away ever since I joined the Air Force.

Stupid question coming up: phone group interview with University of Michigan. Has anyone had one with them? I am aware they will ask me about my application, but is there anything else I should prepare for? Thanks for any and all input!

There was a person in the main thread talking about mid Feb for priority deadline. They attended an info session and was told this. My email says by the end of Feb, I got everything in by priority deadline and I'm just the tradition track for clinical.

Few states have allowed clinical psychologists to administer drugs. Usually psychologist refer a patient to a psychiatrist for medications.

I could never teach. I was an instructor in the Air Force and would probably get in trouble for having too much structure. I love teaching though. That’s a noble desire to mold hungry minds.

Reddit has some haters. My mentor in college told me she would rather work with clinical social workers than other psychologist in a therapy type setting. Rather than focus on the individual’s problems, we can focus on the individual and the outside factors contributing to the problem. MSW is versatile. My mentor was a school psychologist for 15 years and clinical for 20.
