I just got a correction email a few minutes ago! They accidentally sent it to their "admitted and prospective students" so I guess it's still a waiting game.. Thanks for responding! @Krcorn @Amybates @talkingoutloud

I received an email from NAU's president about COVID and the fall classes starting in the fall. It also said: "As we approach the end of the spring semester, I want to congratulate you again on your admission to NAU and your resiliency in the face of this unprecedented global pandemic." l have not received anything from them about admission or denial yet so I'm wondering if they sent that to everyone or only to the people the admitted. Did anyone else get that email who is waiting for a response?

California Programs

My friend reached out to them and they told her that they would be getting back to her within two weeks. They sent out the first round of acceptance letters and will send out another round after they know who accepts. This was a week ago. -
How many Schools did you apply to?
speechlang replied to Verlona's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
I applied to 17 schools and I am happy I did. I've been accepted to 5 so far. I have options in two states and online. I live in CA and have not been accepted to any in state yet. So far I've been rejected by 3 and waitlisted by one. I'm glad I spread a wide net.- 39 replies

I hope this does not affect your admission to the program. I would call and follow up so they know what happened. -
Hi, I am receiving a lot of mixed feedback about NYU Steinhardt's online master's program. I got accepted there and at another school but I would be required to move. I don't know if I should choose the program where I would get to be in the classroom (but move across the country) or pick the school where I get to stay home and do it online.. I think hearing from students who actually went through the program or even know someone who went through the program would be really helpful. Please let me know anything you know about NYU Steinhardt's online full-time master's program.

I think they just require it to be a "100 level" course with physics in the name.

Hi Everyone, On University of Saint Augustine's website it states they accept applicants from California. It also states that students from some states will have to complete additional requirements in graduate school to work in the school setting. Does anyone know if that is the case for California? I have an interview there next week but I'm hesitant to go because I'm worried a master's there won't allow me to work in the school setting in CA. https://www.usa.edu/college-of-rehabilitative-sciences/master-science-speech-language-pathology-ms-slp/ms-slp-accreditation/

Speech Pathology Online Programs - Decisions!
speechlang replied to emdspeech's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
Hi Everyone, Congratulations to those of you who got accepted so far! I got my first acceptance letter today with a deadline to respond in two weeks with a deposit. I am eager to accept and pay the deposit to save my spot but the school that accepted me is the most expensive one I applied to. If I make the deposit and change my mind later on because I am accepted by a more affordable school, is it possible to withdraw from the program for another one? I know I will lose my deposit for sure.. I'm just afraid to commit to the first school that accepted me especially because it is the most expensive one.- 71 replies
