Same. I've used SPSS for some research and a little bit of MATLAB. That's all.

just called LSU because I’m impatient and feel like I’m losing my mind. They said that they have not finished sending out invites and to expect them in the coming weeks. The interview date at the end of January is their first one but just because you aren’t not invited to it does not necessarily mean you won’t be extended an invite for the program all together.

I've been finding a lot of my stress is coming from comparing myself to other candidates, especially on this site (even though I just found it yesterday morning - oops). One thing I'm trying to work on is reminding myself that we are all from different backgrounds and lives and it isn't even possible to accurately compare any of us. I'm also applying straight out of undergrad and I am quickly realizing that most people don't seem to take that route and I need to be easier on myself overall.

Do you mind if I ask if this was for UNT? Because I got a very similar email! I'm going to read over my POI's research and try and come up with any questions like what current projects really entail, different time commitments, balancing life, etc etc. Skills that have been picked up on.

I'm waiting to hear back from LSU, Mississippi State, University of Southern Mississippi, and Texas Tech. If anyone has heard from them, please let me know? I've seen some people who have heard from POI for LSU and Texas Tech.
