  1. From what I've heard, new blog post will be out around 1pm EST to notify applicants that decisions are released.
  2. Thanks! I was actually admitted to SAIS and may very likely attend should Harris not admit me from the waitlist. Good luck and I hope it ultimately goes well for you!
  3. Same here! Are you planning to do the dual degree? Wondering if this is indicative of SIPA acceptance at all.
  4. Bumping this post. Have some of the same questions. Also considering both these schools.
  5. Yes. Decision came out on the 28th as with the majority of others.
  6. It’s an emailed result and I was rejected too. Maybe it’s good news for those who didn’t get it.
  7. Results are out through email!
  8. Saw the same post but I am pretty sure Goldman's (or Berkeley's) policy is to release all decisions at the same time. He may be referring to the PhD is my guess.
  9. Interested in how you weigh the pros and cons between SAIS and SIPA. I have also gotten into SAIS (MA) and I am expecting a decision from SIPA (MPA) in the next two weeks. Will be torn between the two (and also Duke MPP) if I get admitted. From what I've read the reviews regarding whether SIPA or SAIS is better is quite mixed.
  10. Admitted with 25k per year. Fyi the admissions officer who notified me of my decision was really nice and seemed to remember the details of my package off the top of his head, definitely bonus scores there.
  11. Hi all, One of my most preferred programs (Harris MPP) has put me on their waitlist. Would anyone with experience in getting off the waitlist for MPP programs be able to provide insights as to if there's anything I can do to increase my chances? Thanks ahead.
  12. Hi and congrats to all who got in! I have been waitlisted for the MPP (tbh quite grateful it wasn’t a rejection already) and would like to see if anyone has any insights on ways of increasing the chance of being placed higher on the list. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  13. Yes I applied to quite a few just to be safe. I know that Harris is a stretch for me so I wouldn't be overly let down if the results don't turn out well. Still have my hopes up tho.
  14. In a similar boat as you. By results were they all acceptances? From what I’ve heard some students may get acceptances early but rejection letters always come together on time. Feeling anxious now. Also could you confirm if this information is for the MPP?
  15. Yes I think first week of March. Don't stress out about it. Good luck!
  16. No replies yet. Got an email regarding application being reviewed about two weeks ago, which I think went out to a lot of people.
  17. I decided to apply after hearing good things about it from an undergraduate friend currently in their MPP-Data Analysis program, but I haven't talked much to actual students in the MPP. Do you mind sharing some specifics?
  18. Starting a post for all those waiting it out with the Georgetown MPP program for fall 2020. Personally applied by the Jan 15th deadline.
  19. Thanks for the link. I have indeed seen the course list and did write to ask if it will remain largely the same for Fall 2020 admits. Still waiting on a reply.
  20. Congrats! I just got my acceptance last week too which is why I was determined to find out more about the program. I received a personal email from one of the profs (seems like a generic email though) and replied back asking about the class size and curriculum. Given there was no admission last year I don't even know if there would be current students to talk to about the program...
  21. Hi all, As some of you may know the UPenn Fels program received a complete makeover during the past two years and began admitting new students for fall 2020 after a hiatus last year. I am really looking for those with knowledge to provide insight on how the program has changed and information on how the program is looked upon in the MPA/MPP community. There seems to be very little information about the new program and previous quality insights are from old posts in 2012/2013. Thanks in ahead.
