For those wondering about UofT 2-year program, it is typical for them to send out rejections way before waitlists or acceptances. Last year I recall rejections being sent out in early March, several weeks before the acceptances/waitlists were sent out - we can expect acceptance/waitlists to go out last week of March/first week of April. 
I believe this is around when they officially start reviewing the 2-year program applications, and some get rejected early on based on the admissions criteria (e.g. not meeting GPA cut off, etc).

My portal hasn’t been updated yet but I finally got my letter today! Accepted! 

Received acceptance into the Dal Online program. I am in Saskatchewan:) I had to attempt a few times and I’m so excited. Good luck to everyone!!

I just got my letter from Dal- I GOT IN!!! I'm in shock. Fingers crossed the rest of you get them today too!!

Just to paint a picture of what’s happening (also to feel less alone haha) could everyone who hasn’t heard from U of T yet like this post? 

It's strange that we've only heard about acceptances and rejections so far, not waitlists. 

Previously acorn/SGS has been updated in the evening so they may not be finished for the day.

Last name P here, and let me tell ya, I have been staring at SGS/Acorn/ my email all day like.

Letter F with an acceptance!

You can often just pick up courses as a non-degree student at most universities - I actually did that last fall. It's probably easiest at the school you went to for your undergrad but I went to a different one and it was fine. If you're just wanting to upgrade your research course grade then I've heard of people doing a stats course online at Athabasca I think

I think all of our frustrations and emotions are valid right now considering the unexpected changes in timelines for results compared to last year. We should keep this a safe space to vent for people who need it.

I get it's a complex situation but as UofT alumna, the staff are generally pretty inconsiderate towards its students never mind applicants. There are people waiting to hear back so they can decide whether to move houses, whether to accept programs elsewhere. It's pretty much mid-April and our applications were sent in over 4 months ago and all we can get is a copy and paste response? Idk, sounds pretty insensitive to me.

I completely agree. Let’s hold space for people to feel their feelings. It is valid to be upset right now. This is hard

I just got accepted to u of t 2 year! Last name starts with B so I do think its alphabetical! Just crying at work casually lol

OH MY GOODNESS! IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO OPEN IT BECAUSE I WAS SHAKING BUT I GOT IN TO UOFT!!!!! ???? 

I wonder if they are doing this in alphabetical order, would you be ok sharing the first letter of your last name?
