I unfortunately have nothing to offer other than I am in the same boat. I feel so much more anxious now that I feel like I have no control over the outcome and will happily take suggestions on how to deal with the "waiting time". This isn't my first round, but it doesn't seem to get any easier...

College of William and Mary Wake Forest Villanova University of Texas at San Antonio NYU had one, not sure if it is still around. Also UMASS Dartmouth and SCSF had them when I applied to MA programs in 2010. Not a comprehensive list by far, but these are some. The first three offerat least some funding.

Hi all! I applied to Clinical Psychology PhD programs this year, as well as suicide prevention-focused Epidemiology programs. I'm embarrassed to say this is my fifth round of applications, though my first four were in Social Psychology. Best of luck to everyone. I saw someone already got an interview for Florida State--is that person here? I applied there also and would love some more info.

This is all great advice! Thanks, all! It was a hard decision to go back into this process after everything, but it has to be done. It sounds like the process is similar to psychology, so that helps. Thanks again for the info. I'm sure I'll have more questions as the process goes on.

Hi all, I've been absent from gradcafe for a while, but I'm back, preparing for the Fall 2016 application cycle. I applied to psychology Ph.D. programs multiple times, with no success. I took some time to figure out what I really wanted to do, and have been doing suicide prevention research for the last two years. Now, I'm planning to apply to public health Ph.D. programs, mostly epidemiology, but also some behavioral science. In psychology, it's standard practice to email professors in advance of the application cycle to connect and ask if they are taking students. Do people also do this in public health?

I'm also part of the rejected across the board club! Well, assuming at this point, but I'm pretty sure. But I got a job with the federal government that I'm really excited about, so maybe a break from academia will be better. I know it's hard, but don't take across the board rejections to heart. Unlike the troll says, psych admissions are extremely competitive and involve a ridiculous amount of randomness. Don't give up hope!

Temple had interviews already (last weekend of January). The adcom has also already met to discuss results of the interviews (at least for Clinical). You can also try searching the results posts for these schools.

I haven't heard anything, but the Psych website says that interview invites have "started to go out" as of 1/15.

If anyone is waiting on Temple University, the interview weekend is happening this weekend.
