I heard they were closing their program and the current students are kind of scrambling as what to do

That’s unfortunate. It would have been nice of them to tell everyone way ahead of time so they could have reapplied this year. But I guess people higher up are making the decisions and there’s really no control of that.

Has anyone heard from James Madison? Thought they said March 4th for decisions but not sure

I haven't heard anything either. He told me the 4th was his goal and that the 5th was the first day we could contact him to ask if we were on the waitlist. I'm not going to reach out until next week just in case. I'm relieved to hear others haven't heard anything either!

Hey! What do you mean "we could contact to ask if were are on the waitlist" if we get on the wait list do they not tell us?

Yeah I thought we got the call either way... Super confused

While I was there, students told us that they had called and emailed to inquire what spot they were on the waitlist. No one made it seem (to me) like they had been contacted to let know they were on the waitlist. When I talked to Dr. Rout, he made it sound like he would begin making calls on the 4th or 5th at the latest. He told me something along the lines of, "I'm shooting for the 4th, but at least give me until the 5th before you get in touch with me to ask."

That's just my experience with the students and him! I'm not under the impression they call you when you're on the waitlist. I guess we'll see. I never got a call this week, so I couldn't tell if I'm not accepted or if he didn't call anyone

Hi guys! I'm late to finding this forum but I applied to Grand Valley State, Wayne State, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Rush, East Carolina, University of Tennessee, and University of South Florida. I got accepted to Central, Western, Wayne, Rush, UTK, and got waitlisted at USF...still waiting to hear back from ECU and Grand Valley. Making the final decision is going to be SO hard, I was heartbroken to have been waitlisted at USF but am hoping the waitlist will be shrinking in the coming weeks. Congrats to everyone applying and receiving acceptance letters!!

Hi everyone!

Just found this forum but I was wondering if anyone knows if UNT is finished with their interview invitations/acceptances?

They invited their top 30 applicants to a recruitment event on 2/28. They sent out their first round of acceptances. I am not sure if they are still sending out interview invitations or not.
