hopefulK Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 anyone heard from oise SCCP or Guelph CCAP? im starting to lose all hope:( prospectivegradstudent21 1
VanessaB Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 (edited) Not an application question per se, but for doctoral applicants on this form, did you apply for CGS-D / doctoral fellowships? If so, perhaps you can provide some clarification. My SSHRC portal shows an end date, so I’m not sure if this means my application is going to the next round in the national competition or if I’m done at this stage. Any ideas? This is what I see on my end (see image below). Edited January 29, 2022 by VanessaB

I haven't heard from CCAP though so at this point I feel like it's an assumed rejection prospectivegradstudent21 and lemonsqueezy 1 1

This is my first time applying so I was wondering if anyone is able to give me some insight into how the timeline works? Starting to get concerned after hearing that many people have already heard back while I have not. Best of luck to everyone! Timelines vary from school to school. Wishing you the best
applypsych Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 I'm wondering if the person who got rejected from Usask today might be comfortable sending me their POI? OR whoever got accepted what their source of funding is? Can DM me if not comfortable putting the info in the forum!
WickedWorld91 Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 For those who had an interview with their POI for Research and Clinical Training at McMaster, have you received an email regarding the second round of interviews with the committee?

I'm kind of losing hope because I think last year, interviews were sent out quite a while ago ? I received an email from UBCO and was not selected to move forward because of research fit, so was hoping to hear from UBCV I had a informal interview with a POI back at the beginning of January. Then I heard back that they went with another candidate on the 18th. Not sure if that's helpful? SoundofSilence 1

hopelessbuthoping Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 If I haven’t been contacted for any interviews at all yet am I out of luck ? (Uvic Usask Windsor and McMaster)
kayts1394 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Has anyone heard anything from waterloo? I know that they sent out rejections about two weeks ago but my app still says its being reviewed. Does anybody know whether their interviews are conducted on a professors time at their own discretion like OttawaU or if they have an interview date?
Gradschool2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Has anyone heard from Windsor’s Neuro track? I see the Adult and Child track have heard back.
ClinicalPsychBean Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Hey, this might be a long shot but has anyone interviews with the University of Victoria before? They said their interview will be about "Clinical issues", so I got the feeling it won't be the same evaluation of research interests as other programs interviews have been. Can anyone who's applied before, or interviewed with them provide some insight into this?

As a current uvic student, these questions are usually to see how you would respond to clinical issues, even if you don’t have current clinical experience! Try to pull in examples from any relevant work/volunteer/research experience. Think about questions that ask how you’d deal with certain scenarios in a clinical environment. Hope that helps! psy2223 and ClinicalPsychBean 2
skowall Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Just got an email from Ottawa that my application is still under review and that they are delayed but I should hear shortly! A glimmer of hope for anyone who is worried that they have not heard back yet. Best of luck to everyone during these stressful times! HopingFor2022 and Lavender_1 2
