Bit weirded out that they invite me to a skype interview because I was totally considering doing the trip from Switzerland to London for the interview as it is not that far

I'm pretty sure that the interviews were broken up by department, I interviewed with a photography faculty member. / Thank you! @meghanmetier Thanks so much! I can't stop smiling. Causofit Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 i had an interview with upenn today! i feel like it actually went well (which might be a bad sign) but, they were really casual and laughing and interested! And I was nervous and babbling, and I wish I wasn't because I would have loved to talked about my work. but i don't remember what i said. And at some point I said something and i saw the one person not like what i said. I could tell by her gestures. yikes. anyway, they said they hope to see me at the open house. and I will SO be there. but yeah.... that was kinda scary. good luck everyone

What do you mean by that? Did they not ask about your work, or do you just mean that you were nervous and cant remember what you discussed about it? I have interviewed with programs that didn't ask about my work at all (instead were just general questions about other artists, books I read, etc,) and some that ONLY discuss your work, image by image. Just curious what their interview process consisted of? It can be tough to walk into an interview and have it go completely the opposite of other interviews you have done, in terms of their focus and style of questioning.
