I contacted HPM admissions at Hopkins and they said they would release decisions by the end of next week. I applied to Harvard and Berkeley as well but haven't heard anything yet! Typically Hopkins gets back the first couple days of February. This makes me think overall PhD applications went up this year, maybe across the board. The same as APK1942 said---- It was 200+ applications for the Department of Epidemiology alone, about 50-60 interviewed, across all tracks, will cut down to 20 more or less... I think all of the tracks are doing it separately, but my impression is that most or all are moving. Seems like they interview a very small number, but that may vary by track.
