Haven't heard anything. I looked at last year's forum and the first mention of an interview notification from them was on the 24th of Feb. Let me know if you hear though and I'll do the same! Haven't seen that many RISD painting applicants on here.

Had a 15 minute interview with a assistant professor at UO-Eugene. - Six questions were asked, but I cannot remember all of them now...was so nervous and don't remember what all I said. These quick phone interviews are rough for a first timer. - You can read a person so much better face to face. 

-Why UO-Eugene?

-How would your art evolve there?

-What artists are you looking at right now? 

-Explain XXXX piece of your submitted artwork. (He add obviously read my application very well and had thought about my work.) 

-What questions do you have for us? - I asked about financial aid (not sure if I regret it or not. Make sure you practice it / I sounded rude I think.)

Pratt- Accepted 2017, attended for a short time. Not a great fit for me. Got my $ back asap.

I am a BU senior painter, I asked my professor and he told me that all the interview emails have already sent out, if u have not heard anything, probably have already been rejected. I am really sorry!!

I tried to stalk the forums from last year and it seems like VCU sends out invitations early February for interviews but haven't heard anyone get them this year so there is still hope! Haha. 

I really did like it there. It's definitely the type of school that you have to make it good for yourself. But grad students are super involved and its wonderful. The studios are pretty nice, and most graduates end up teaching/working on collaborative projects for the school.

The school also has tons of hidden gem classes and special topics if you are interested in expanding. I learned how to make close to 8 different types of paper and how to use paper as a sculptural form from GMU.

 oh well. did he say interview emails were sent out for all programs? I applied for sculpture, not painting.

Curious to hear how everyone else's SAIC interviews went? Felt a bit rushed through mine and was only able to ask two questions towards the end. Bit of a toss up for me tbh ??‍♂️
