  1. Curious to know if other people are in this situation.
  2. I am still very undecided but I might turn down the Offer at Harris so don't lose hope.
  3. Hahaha ... I had the same feeling ...
  4. Exactly in the same situation (minus the scholarships) ... I really feel like Harris will provide me with the intellectual/academic challenge I am looking for ... SIPA's advantage is the location, the network (I assume?), and paradoxically the reputation (at least internationally). When I tell my friends about my acceptance by these two Universities needless to say Chicago is overshadowed by Columbia.
  5. I'm in .... too bad my recommender was late for the scholarship consideration deadline ... ugh
  6. It would make no sense for them to consider your Quantitative Score if your field is in no way related to mathematics. Your Verbal is Ivy Competitive and your AWA is simply ... 99th percentile. (PS: scoring not a single answer correctly on Q is in a way an achievement in itself too ... lolzzzzzzzzzzzzz).
  7. Hello, I believe the reply you quoted from NPRjunkie was not for me but for ''taidan'' :-) The vast majority of people told me I have my chances, considering the service you are providing, I would be happy if you could assess my chances just by quickly looking at my post page 2. Best
  8. Very generous initiative! Have you encountered many people with 1 year or less of professional experience getting successfully in?
  9. My exam is tomorrow as well, I am not really freaking out though but I am kind of daunted by AWA somehow ... none of those damn subjects seem inspiring.
  10. I mean 4.5 is not a bad score as far as I know, is it? 5 would've been better but 4.5 is like 78th percentile, which is a respectable score in my opinion. You should not worry about it. On the other hand, considering the GRE's average mathematic level, I would say that 152Q is quite low (or average) ... but I don't know how much the schools you are aiming for emphasize on quantitative. Your verbal is better than average (70%) but not exceptional either. If you want be safe and not worry about your GRE score then try to aim at least for 161Q, 159V and 4.5-5AWA.
  11. And I assume that it is the reason why they claim the ability to improve people's score so drastically.
  12. Magoosh is perfect and it's online (they have 581Q and 521V questions), and each question comes with a video that explains how to solve the question. The only issue is that the hard/very hard questions are most of the time out of the scope of the difficulty of the real GRE.
