  1. The wait is killing me and stressing me out . It’s really all that has been on my mind, every time my phone chimes that it is an email or my phone rings I hope it is the answer. I am a high alternative at my top choice and the waiting is racking my brain. I am praying for good news for all of us. Good luck everyone and it’s nice to know neither of us are alone in this process!
  2. Found out I was a high alternative from Okstate Counseling Psychology program....this is my top choice! Hoping for good news!
  3. Someone on gradcafe status forum stated this: To the Colorado State poster: I emailed graduate admissions today (1/26) and she said they have not extended interviews yet!
  4. I applied here too and have not heard anything as of yet from the program. Also no one has posted on the other forums about receiving anything from Colorado State's Counseling program. Last year the invitations came out on 1/20/2017 so hopefully we hear something this week.

  6. It is definitely is not easy to get into the program especially due to the number of applicants. I am involved in a developmental disabilities lab due to my interest in this area. They also have anxiety lab, health psychology, and a ACT lab
  7. I went to University of Houston Clear Lake Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and they emphasize research. It is just the lab projects had to be pushed back due to our Professor/Lab Head having a baby. This spring semester and summer semester we are suppose to be presenting at more conferences which will add to my posters portion of my CV.
  8. I am also currently in a Master clinical psychology program and am applying to programs this Fall 2017. I have some years of research experience from my undergraduate and graduate school. However, I do not have a lot of publications or posters, just one poster and I am working on a publication. I am wondering as well if going this route is making me an acceptable candidate for a Ph.D. clinical psychology program.
  9. Hi eeepsych13, I also applied to South Florida so if you hear anything could you let me know and I will do the same if I hear anything. Thank you and good luck on these next few weeks.
  10. I completely understand, I am going through the same thing with one of my letter writers. The application process is stressful enough.
  11. Reading all the post was very inspirational especially since I am applying to get into a Psychology PhD program with a 3.43 GPA and my GRE scores are in the okay levels for the programs I am applying to.
