oops, I mean I WAS accepted!

I wasn't just accepted to ACU Dallas too! And haven't heard from App state but I can't wait to hear!

Hey everyone! So far I've been accepted to Grand Valley State University and Abilene Christian University (yay!) I have visited both campuses/talked with faculty but am wondering if anyone can give a student's perspective on either school, good or bad! Also, if anyone else has been accepted to either program and has any insights I may not have. Congrats to everyone that's been hearing good news!

I agree! I had my interview yesterday and I loved it! They were so welcoming and sweet and it was so comfortable. I didn't even feel like I was in an interview after the first fe mins, just felt like I was in a conversation. They have a very good back and forth during the interview. Good luck to everyone still interviewing! Can't wait to hear back!

Hi! Congrats on the interview!! I've had two interviews so far, one at West Virginia University and one at Grand Valley State University. When people say "content-based" I don't really think you need to be studying anything specific from your undergrad courses. They won't give you like a multiple choice test or ask you about the anatomy or anything like that. What they will do "content" wise is just see how well you can incorporate what you've learned in all of your undergrad courses in a "big-picture" scenario. For example, they may give you a hypothetical client and a situation and ask you how you would handle that situation. Things like this that make you think "big picture", but also incorporate many different things you leaned in undergrad. I mostly just reminded myself about the clinical aspect of things, building rapport with clients. what that means and how you might do it, problem solving strategies, behavior modification, stuff like that. If you paid attention in undergrad you'll do fine! It's all stuff you know like the back of your hand! Good luck

I have my interview tomorrow! But I can tell you I went to visit over the summer and the entire staff was SO welcoming and positive. So I can imagine the interview will be the same way!

Hey! So I got an email from UT-Dallas saying that i needed to send in my official transcripts in order for my application to be processed. Did this happen to you? I thought we didn't need them until we were accepted?

Hi all! Just got emails from Grand Valley State University and West Virginia University for interviews! West Virginia on Friday the 24th and Grand Valley on Saturday the 25th. Looks like it's gonna be a long weekend of roadtripping!
