Just received a phone call that I was accepted to Biola's MS program in Speech Language Pathology.

Was a writing prompt mentioned in your invitation for an interview? I just received an invite to interview at Chapman but don't see any mention of a writing prompt on my email. ( I already scheduled the interview and still no mention of a writing prompt. ) Thank you!

If they don’t offer funding then they don’t have to do give you until April 15th. Read the first line of the document listed. Acceptance of an offer of financial support* (such as a graduate scholarship, fellowship, traineeship, or assistantship) for the next academic year by a prospective or enrolled graduate student completes an agreement that both student and graduate school expect to honor. followed by Students are under no obligation to respond to offers of financial support prior to April 15; This school didn’t offer you funding, so even if they are on the list they don’t have any reason to wait until April 15th. Would it be nice if they did? Yeah, but they’ve made it apparent that they won’t wait until April 15th for your decision. I don’t think you’ll be able to strong arm them into doing so otherwise.

They contacted me regarding an interview today.

I found out because there was an issue with my YouTube video. They emailed me asking for a new video link. They said to do it ASAP because the admissions committee was reviewing my application materials and were making decisions the next day.

UoP’s admission committee met and made decisions on Monday. I have not received an email with a decision yet though. It is possible they are still in the process of reviewing applications.

Can you elaborate why they advised you to do it in state? I’m a California native and am considering an out of state school for my Masters degree

Did you have an interview? I sent an email to the two people who interviewed me thanking them for their time and briefly talked about something that was discussed on the interview.

Only applied to three schools?? You brave brave soul!! Are you local to Texas? Any particular reason you’re only applying to those schools? I didn’t apply to any of those but did apply to UTEP, which asked for a video answering a prompt last week, so can’t imagine other schools waiting much longer for invitations.

What time are your interviews at CBU? Mines at 11am! Did you guys opt for the campus tour?

I submitted my application for MWU-Glendale on 1/10 /19 and received an invitation to interview on 1/12/19 via email. I then interviewed on 01/28/19 and received notice that I was accepted into the program today, 02/11/19.

I haven't heard anything from them either, but applied and submitted my application on 1/15. It is my ideal choice for school, so I hope to hear from them soon.

Is this for the on site program on online program?

I was offered an interview at Midwestern as well! What date did you sign up for? I'll be there on 1/28/2019
