I have not had any rejections uptil now and I am still waiting for replies from almost all unversities I have applied too. However for your case i feel you should try getting some research papers and get them published in international publications, get strong LORs, make a strong SOP. No opinion regarding work ex as I am myself a final year undergrad student!

I received an admit from Lakehead, but status is still 'Under-Review' everywhere else for UofT MScAC, UAlberta Msc, UBC Msc, SFU Big Data, Western Msc, Ottawa Msc, Windsor MAC.

Anyone got any admits/rejects/interviews for Canadian Universities for Fall 2018 ( Computer Science )? I got none yet. Mostly 'Under Review' and 'Submitted' status everywhere.

Because I haven't given GRE and Waterloo and McGill compulsorily require GRE for application. That's why I am asking for a profile evaluation considering the fact that I haven't given GRE then what would be my chances in the above universities! Thanks in advance to responses. -
Hello, I have applied to UBC, UofT(MScAC), UAlberta(Msc coursework), Windsor(MAC), Lakehead(MSc) in Computer Science courses. I will apply to 2 or 3 more universities. IELTS:8.0 CGPA:8.5/10 No papers. 3 Internships. Many Technical Projects. Specialization for MS: AI/ML I will apply to 3 or so more universities. Mostly from these: Ottawa/Carleton, McMaster, UOIT, Western, Victoria, Queens. Mostly I'll go with Ottawa, McMaster and Western/Queesn

Hello all, I have applied to UBC, UofT, UAlberta, UOttawa, Queen's, Mcmaster for MS in CS programs. I am hoping to get admits from UBC and/or UofT. Here is my profile. I have no publications. Strong academics (8.65) from a good college from Gujarat,India. IELTS 8.0 bands. No GRE. 3 internship stints and 2 technical training stints. (2 of the internships were on Java and Cloud/ML) Strong leadership skills and extra-curricular activities as well. I have formed a strong SOP mentioning my clear vision and broad interests in the field of AI, ML , DL and CLoud computing , along with a few professors and their research groups. Any one admitted from UBC of UofT MscAC program if available to comment on my chances , Please do So! Also, I have heard that UBC and UofT conduct interviews before giving acceptance offers.
