Called. Was told interview dates are not finalized yet, but that they would approximately be around Feb 15. But also that interview dates may be for individual POIs rather than a department-wide day like most other programs. I'm taking from this that there's still hope to be invited for an interview, since Feb 15 is a month away. CU notifications should go out by Feb, based on their website. But was told by dpt coordinator that POIs are reviewing apps as of a few days ago. Also haven't heard anything from Duke, am very interested in who's already extended invites.

You’re comparing 35 page threads (clinical applicants, invites, Canadian applicants, poi requests) to school psychology which has 4 pages?

No email no correspondence, nothing. Three total invites / 13 apps

I can’t speak for all programs but I know some POIs don’t look at that section. As in they literally don’t even see it. It goes straight to the school or admissions council. I would first contact the dpt to see whether POIs see that info and try to correct the error through them.

Yeah. I know it will clean it up a bit. But i don’t think a separate thread solves the problem. There are people who quote others instead of DMing posters directly. And there’s a lot of (IMO) irrelevant useless posts as well. But if this thread picks up steam and the other post becomes more strictly about invites (which begs the question, why not post more info anonymously on the results page?), we have 5 areas to monitor. (General applicants, clin invites, clin applicants, this, and results). There’s little to no incentive for interviewees to browse or post on this specific thread. It may be a bad analogy but it’s like moving the soup kitchen to a different city. Why visit? Say I get invited to school A. Am I really expected to go through this thread to find who wants POI info about school A? Why would I use my time that way?

What incentive do people have for browsing this thread over the original one? Poi requests were spammy but I’m not sure separating a thread will help that much. Anyone who is invited for an interview, who is willing to share their POI, is more likely to just post the initials publically rather than find each person who wants that info through this thread

yeah. i have 6 schools that may have their interview on the same day. i feel like any school that reaches out early has an advantage in locking down applicants. tricky situation to juggle. re: 'not being locked out' -- if you say yes to an interview and then back out for another interview, i imagine that looks pretty bad to whichever program is being rescheduled.

For the person who was invited to have a phone call to Stony Brook, could you please DM me your POI? Also if the phone call is actually via phone, or thru Skype!

Thanks, I thought my percentile wouldnt change either, but my psych GRE percentile decreased within these past 4 months. I called ETS about it and they just said 'it happens all the time' I am thinking about using the GRE website PDF but wanted to be certain instead of hypothesizing based on data from last 3 years, especially given the percentile decrease that i experienced.
