Yes! Email and this site! Friday can you please get here?! How do you feel about your video? What are your stats?
-
I think you did fine! Yes, there were fillers but that’s totally expected. You had great answers and you sound confident. I’m going to send you the link for mine.

It took sooo many takes for me to get one I was okay with. I didn’t think it’d be that difficult. I ended up just doing two different takes of the questions and merged them together. Hopefully they just want to see our personalities and won’t critique them too hard. If you want to trade links let me know! I’d love to see someone else’s!

My bet is on Friday! It feels like forever away though. How do you feel about your video?
-
Yes to all of this!!! I just finished up applying (should have my decision this week!) and I had all of these emotions. And I can definitely understand the age thing. It makes me a little sad that I’ll potentially be 33 and BARELY getting my masters. Thats amazing that you applied to that many schools! Where all did you apply? Good luck, I’m sure you’ll get into one!

I’m thinking it might be Friday? Time is going by sooo slow. I have so many emotions. Let me know when you find out!!! Positive thoughts!

Your video was horrible? If so I feel a lot better. I was super nervous and it really showed in mine. Did the confirmation email just simply say it was received? I’m so on edge this is awful.

Csun requires that all prerequisites are completed when you apply. So you would have to apply the next year. I guess because they’re so competitive they can impose these rules.
-
Did you submit your video too? I just recorded mine!

CSUN distance cohort size?
ChaiTeaSLP replied to JennWilhelm's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
I have a friend in cohort 18 that said about 60 were admitted. -
Just sharing my own stats, I am a California resident. Undergrad and teaching credential from CSUB. Did my communication science prerequisites through Idaho State. Currently a SLPA.
-
To those that have received the email, are you residents of California? Did you graduate from CSUs? Curious to see what we all have in common.

A 160 is an excellent score and is definitely higher than my score! I used my MAT scores for my application and mine was a 385, not stellar. Definitely take your husband’s advice and not give up hope until you officially hear from admissions. And if you do get a rejection email, maybe take the MAT, get some different experience (volunteer at a school?) and apply again. Good luck! I will let you know how it goes for me, I do have a question for you though! How did you search previous acceptances and interview surveys? What key words did you use? I can’t find anything. Thanks!

Stay positive!!! What are your stats? And are you a resident of California? Fingers crossed for both of us!

Hi! I also took “physical science” through my community college and it was counted just fine. Good luck! -
Hi cohort 20 applicants! Did you all receive an email today asking to fill out a survey and send in a video of yourself answering questions about challenging times?
-
I took mine through Idaho State. Pretty easy, I think I got an A!

Hi! I have not heard anything since the email noting October 8th either. It’s so frustrating and nerve wrecking. I check my email at least once an hour. Going to try and unplug this weekend. Hopefully Monday is the day?? Keep us updated and fingers crossed for all of us! Would love to get hands on experience there! -

Good luck! I hope we both get in! Let me know when you get your results! Fingers crossed!!! -
I’m definitely checking the portal at least once a day now too. It’s an obsession. And I don’t even want to talk about my email. Did anyone apply to Tennessee State? Their admission decisions should be going out this week!

It’s my first time applying and I only applied to two. CSU Northridge and Tennessee State. Tennessee State’s results should be coming in the next few days (!!!!) did anyone else apply there? Have you gotten your results yet?
