This is one of my top choice schools and my first interview invite!! So excited but also in disbelief. Feel free to DM for POI!

Hey everyone, I need some advice. So when I was filling out an app to a program, I (very very stupidly) answered that I had committed academic dishonesty when of course I never have - I think I was just going too fast. Meanwhile, back in Sept. and then right when the app was submitted, I had some email contact with the POI that sounded extremely positive (e.g., he said my GPA/GRE and research experience looked great and was looking forward to receiving my app). Fast forward to Dec. 17th, when I was looking through this app and noticed the mistake. I immediately called the office and got it corrected and asked if apps had been reviewed yet, and the program assistant assured me they didn't get looked at until early Jan. However, I saw some interview invites posted on the results page for this university's clinical program on Dec. 18-19... basically, do you think I should contact this POI and alert him to the fact that I made the mistake in my app, just in case he threw it out based on seeing that one mistake?

I actually just completed my undergrad there and have close ties with lots of faculty, especially forensic - if anyone has any questions about any aspect of the program please feel free to DM me! I was just on the phone with an undergrad PI that is involved in the admissions process this morning and she let me know that they do not even have a shortlist of candidates to interview yet and they definitely won't be sending invites out until late next week. So don't worry! ?

I am shaking and crying I received an interview invite to Nebraska. I have an undergrad GPA of 3.2 so I was honestly not expecting this beyond my wildest dreams

Please ask people for their POIs here rather than the interview invite thread - posting there makes people think there is another invite which leads to lots of unnecessary panic! Thank you!

Y'all how about for formatting, when people post their interviews they can say either 1) dm for poi or 2) don't contact for POI, that would make things a lot smoother to read and less of a spamfest. Also that way we can respect people's preferences instead of hounding them for information they might not be comfortable sharing.

I was just invited to interview at the University of Florida - Clinical Psych PhD program! Feb 14-16!

I do as well! My situation is very unique and awesome though - we both just finished undergrad, and my SO is starting a job as a utility consultant. He will either be working from home, or flying to whatever location his company puts him on a contract with each week and will be home for weekends. So either way, we can literally move anywhere I get in. So grateful for that!

I work for a clinical psych professor at University of Nebraska (thought I'm not a grad student there), and he told me that the department wouldn't be sending out notifications until at least Jan 3-4th when we get back from break. Hopefully this puts some people at ease if you haven't heard back from them yet!

Just got my first in-person interview invite (Marquette University - Clinical Psych PhD) this application season!! I am very excited!
