I believe it will help a lot in term of "unique work experience" because most of the chemistry applicants do not have that kind of experience . One of the professors in my division was an army vet, and my coworker (in the same research group) went to a military school for his Masters.

My PI got pretty annoyed at her because of all the Q's she asked (Qs that can be answered easily). I got really offended because she would ask me a question and I gave her an intellectual answer, then she would go around and ask other grad students the EXACT same question and compare the answers...I was like, "sketchy much?" now I can see why she doesn't get along with other female students and people DONT like her in general, two-faced xxxxx

I got all my furniture from IKEA, I was able to get everything for my bedroom (bed frame, night stands, mattress, drawers, computer table, computer chair) , living room (bookcase x 4, coffee table, TV stand, stools), dining room (a full dining set with 4 chairs), kitchen (all the necessities), and lots of decorative stuff. for about ~$1500 tax included. It was a good way to start fresh lol

I got myself a Target RED card last year because I realized I was shopping there pretty often and they offer weekly coupons. I applied online and was able to get an approval with 2K credit limit within 10 min after I submitted my application. I've heard a lot of people applied and only got $200 ~ 700 credit limit due to their credit score and credit history. The Target near where I live recently re-innovate from a standard Target to a Super Target (w/ grocery). I like Target brand generic products, -
Do you think GRE score is the only thing they're looking for? At my school, GRE is the least thing we look for when evaluating an applicant.

you're right, I think my PI might be fed up with Person A soon because Person A was asking me a lot of random questions during my research presentation and most of my coworkers look very annoyed...
