Expand If you asked about the bioinformatics program at BU, it seems like someone got invite on Monday regarding to the result page. Seems like for the majority of schools they send out an email at the same time to everyone.

Less than 2% for just an interview seems quite competitive. I'd be interested to know if anyone has information on how these numbers compare to programs such as Harvard BIG, Yale CBB, Stanford BMI.

Expand I got an invite from BU Bioinformatics on Monday. The open house is Feb 14-15 which conflicts with my UNC interview so I’m hoping they have an alternate weekend.

From what some POIs have told me at school's I've gotten interview's at there seems to have been an increase in the number of applicants at many places over all this year, probably in part due to the waived GRE becoming more common. Also the pool of interviewees at stanford is so small i wouldn't be surprised if none of the ppl who got one was on here lol (or they are running late lmao at this point im just trying to be an optimist)

That's all I know

I looked at posts from 2017 and they had said the same thing that results will be given and they ended up changing the date to the next week; I hope this does not happen! pangenome 1
