ALSO, one of my colleagues was waitlisted there. tuppert 1
Absurd'sTheWord Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Haven't heard anything from U Kentucky or Boston College. After seeing that multiple people have already received offers and/or interviews, should I go ahead and assume that I have been rejected?

Is it that there are different rounds of sending offer? Schools tend to send out acceptances and rejections in waves. The first wave of acceptances (from what I have read) tend to be for the applicants that the school is most eager about, but typically only a portion of those applicants will accept the school's offer.....you can see how this cycle would continue until all applicants have been contacted in some manner. Hope that helps! Philosofiend, HootyHoo and Marcus_Aurelius 3

platonetsocrate Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Rejected from Loyola Chicago via an email prompting me to check the application portal
Estudiante Graduado Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Rejected from Northwestern via an email that made me go check the application portal! Okay, so the smile is for a few reasons: (1) They recently lost faculty that I would have loved to work with, (2) my bad news means someone else got good news, and (3) I'm happy with the acceptances I have gotten, and there's no use in making myself more anxious than I already am. Good luck to all on this wild ass ride. Philosofiend, HootyHoo, ShadyCarnot and 5 others 8
Losebeforeapply Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Rejected by University of Chicago and referred to MAPH program.
Descartes blanche Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 Has anyone heard from Oregon? I see a waitlist on the survey, but no acceptances. Do waitlists ever go out before acceptances?
Coconuts&Chloroform Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Anybody claim the Berkeley rejection? I haven't heard anything from them at all.
UndergradDad Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Called Stonybrook- all acceptances went out already so if you have nit heard back they said you can assume you are rejected. Don't know when they were planning to send out the rejections...
HootyHoo Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 @UndergradDad Thanks a bunch for the update. Ain't that just the way
