Congrats on your admission as well! I chose Michigan for many reasons: I went to Michigan for undergrad and I love the campus and city of Ann Arbor! The sports culture is also amazing here! Finances - I am an in-state student and I have a job at Michigan Medicine with the potential to receive tuition reimbursement if I keep working while pursuing my MSW (which I likely will) The school has a high reputation especially in Social Work Hundreds of options for field placements! I've interacted with some alumni as well as faculty and it seems like the school and program does a great job supporting their students Out of my options, I believe Michigan would give me the most opportunities to learn, gain experience, and maybe even help me easily land a job in the future. cccrsn22 Posted April 11, 2021 Share Posted April 11, 2021 I just emailed Columbia asking for a timeline given that my deposit extensions for Penn and NYU are due in a few days and I don't even know where I'd pick between those 2 right now. For regular decision applicants, I was told it could be another 2 week delay. It might not be ideal but I’m glad I got a transparent answer. I’ve been admitted to two Msw programs so far, but I am waiting to hear back from my #1 Msw program.
