Thank you for sharing! I hope so. but I just thought that they would wait to share the result after the deadline of self-financed applicants. but if they said so we just have to wait!

This is my first time doing anything like this... are the interviews supposed to happen before the results?

Good question. I can't say for sure, they aren't mentioned in the instructions of the selection process. But I saw posts from last year in the fb group and some people was talking about it.

I heard from a couple of GEMMA alumni that they are usually late with their deadlines, so I'd expect the results to arrive in late-April - early-May. 

And to this date I haven't seen a single person who had been called for an interview, so I guess first they need to do that.

Yes indeed, I have also heard that they send out results pretty late, so no need to worry!

I would to post something in the facebook group so the rest of the candidates know that they started to send responses, but they still have not added me as a member, I can only see and like other posts.

Hi all, i received an interview call from Utrecht today. I dont remember if it was my first choice though. In the email it says everyone on the shortlist is getting interviewed. Does anyone know how much weightage the interview has? Or how big is the shortlist? When I was applying, I did not know there would be an interview. I wonder if this is new protocol. Good luck to all!

I dunno how much weight it carries for the final decision but we do know that only 5% of all candidates were shortlisted and interviewed. We are very lucky.

Congrats! ? I think this selection procedure may be up to each institution and that's why they don't mention it in the instructions. How much time in advance they contacted you for scheduling the interview?
