Backing out from a school to attend another school
Nancy M replied to hopefulslp1's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
Can I ask what kind of stats you have to get full tutition? That seems likes it doesn't happen very much with grad school. Thanks -
How many grad programs did you apply to? Maybe apply to more and broaden the states more.

I would seriously look at the amount and how many years it will take you to pay the money back. Also, how much a month it will cost you. Find out how much an apartment is where you would like to work and average salary would be. That way you can see what your expenses will be and then how much you will have in loans. Figure out how much you will have left to spend on other things like a car, food , entertainment. If it is enough than great. If you won't be able to do anything because all your money will be going to rent and loans. That way you can make an informed decision. good luck.

Could you province message me what you wrote? Thanks -
Most California schools won't even let you tour let alone talk to anyone! A few have information meeting but they usually only have one professor. It is crazy!

SLP Application Depression
Nancy M replied to Stephanie022594's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
I think our degree would work well for being a teacher or special ed teacher. I have a lot of friends that have gone into teaching and love it. The pay is about the same and you don't have to get s masters.- 29 replies

Me too! -
Hi on one of my appliacations it gives you 500 words to let them know why your GRE score is low. Has anyone done this? I have some learning disabilities but not sure I want the graduate programs to know this. Do you think it would hurt or help? I have a high GPA and lots of clinical and leadership experience. Thanks
