Right, I wanted to assume that the individual is close to faculty. I went to CSUF for my undergrad and they have their favorites.
-
I applied to CSUF and haven't heard back yet. I know that someone on here recently got an acceptance the last week.

I don't like going out. Introverted problems Binge watching anime, K-dramas, and watching the newest trainwreck of a season that is the Bachelor LOL All jokes aside, my work throughout the day distracts me from constantly checking my email

I HATE waiting!!!! Speech-Language Pathology

I'm refreshing my email every 30 minutes to an hour every day. It's discouraging seeing others getting interviews and acceptances already and you haven't received word from schools yet ? -

Cool! I didn't get an interview. I got an email about them scheduling more interviews next month, so there's still hope for me lol -

Hi! Has anyone heard from these programs yet: CSUF, MWU Glendale, University of Arizona, or NAU (full-time)? -
Thank you! Trying to stay positive

Waiting does suck! I haven't heard from other programs I applied to expect the rejection from ASU. -
I'm from SoCal, I applied to 2 local schools: CSUF and Biola. The rest of the 4 schools I applied to are out of state. I'd love to stay here, but I have to be realistic in this process. I may end up needing to move out of California regardless if I get into a program this year (personal/familial fiances). I talked about my work experience since graduating with my B.A., leadership as a NSSLHA officer, and volunteer experience I have. I have low GPA and GRE stats so they're typically seen as not "competitive." I'm waiting to hear back from 5 programs now. I was rejected from ASU last week.

That's awesome! Congrats on the acceptance!! I submitted my application 12/18/18 and got an interview waitlist email on 12/20/18 where they said: "The Admissions Committee for the College of Health Sciences Speech-Language Pathology Program has put your application on hold pending a potential invitation for an interview." That was about 8 weeks ago and haven't received any updates ? -

How I got into Grad School (low GPA and GRE)
miss_liza_ann replied to Kslptobe's topic in Speech-Language Pathology Forum
This gives me hope! I have a 3.3 GPA in the major, but my last 2 years was 3.58. My GRE scores are terrible, but I feel better having my rec letters and statements. I'm happy to know there are people out there who have gotten into grad school with low GPA and GRE scores (below 300 or even 290). -

I see, well there's still hope then. I was frustrated about the GRE because I got a really low score despite putting in months of studying for it ? -

No, I submitted my app and turned in all of the supplement items before Dec. 15th. I haven't heard from them yet. My GRE scores don't meet the minimum requirement stated on their website. ? -

I'm a first timer applying to grad programs! I applied to ASU, Biola, CSUF, NAU, MWU-Glendale, and the University of Arizona. So far, I've been rejected from ASU. I'm a California girl, hoping to stay here, but I'm open to moving for school. My stats aren't great, but I'm confident in my personal statements, experience, and recommendation letters Here's to staying positive ?? -

My GRE scores are less than 290 as well! This gives me hope that my scores aren't a "kiss of death" for an acceptance.
