Can those who received interviews for UCSB share which concentration they applied to? I know that developmental went out, and saw a few counseling, but haven't seen anyone with a clinical concentration..here's hoping they aren't out yet!

Ditto! Has anyone heard from clinical yet?

I did.  You had a phone interview with them, correct?  Have you heard anything further?

My POI mentioned on the phone that I should "expect to hear about in person interview invites from the DCT by the end of the week", but now I'm worried that only people who got the invites heard back and rejections are coming later... ANXIETY

Hopefully the DCT just got behind and didn't get the email out by COB.  Maybe we'll hear good news after the holiday.

UMN Psych and ICD programs don't interview, they direct admit. If you're accepted you're invited to accepted students weekend to see if you like the school.

Thanks for the info! So, they don't even do a phone or Skype interview before admitting?

MyRed said a final decision is made for mine--- assuming it is a rejection, but I haven't gotten official notice.

I wouldn't take this as a rejection until you hear from them. It may mean that they've reached their decision on whether or not to extend an interview.

Some POIs do, but it was a school you truly should have/needed to email yourself before hand

Thanks for the reply! I emailed back and forth with a POI in November, talked to the grad office a few weeks ago, and searched through the info on the website; but the only info I could get was about the accepted students day. So, I thought I'd also check with everyone here, because I found it unusual that the program didn't seem to have official interviews.

FYI it’s like that for many top dev psych programs, like Michigan and NYU

Has anyone heard from Temple yet?  I think one online calendar said their interview date would be mid-January (I think 1/14) but only two people have posted on the results tab about interview invites, and each reference different dates (1/14 and 2/14).

I got an interview invite for the School Psych program at Temple! Their interview day is January 14th, and I got an email from the program coordinator on the 14th.

How normal is it to not have heard back at all from 20 out of 21 schools yet (one sent out rejection already)?

Just trying to brace myself for the harsh reality...

Completely normal. Many schools don't send anything until the new year. Interview invites are commonly sent in January. It really just depends on the program. I would start to worry if many people had heard back from a certain school or if I hadn't heard anything by February.

I wouldn't think too much into it at this point. They're going into the winter break, so if they haven't met yet, they probably won't until after the break.

I’m applying to both clinical and school psych programs and most (6/9) of my schools have historically reached out after the holiday break. Hang in there! Don’t let seeing others’ results get to you!

I did! And I didn't even apply there! ...?

It was weird, it came from the Business School and I didn’t apply there either. I did apply to psych though.

I got an email after business hours yesterday that my application was incomplete (the portal didn't reflect this). I called right when they opened this morning and talked with admissions. They said they think my official GRE scores were not attached because I was recently married and changed my name. They said they can't forward the application to the department until all of the materials are submitted and would email their documents department to get it straightened out, but everyone is on break now. This is a school that some have posted interview invites  from and their website says they send out invites in December for January interviews. My question is, should I email the POI and tell her the situation? We exchanged a few emails in early Fall and she was nice and encouraged me to apply. Any thoughts/ideas/opinions?
