What are the top-tier programs?

Ivies, Stanford, MIT and the like. I genuinely worried if I made all the wrong choices for a bit since most of my programs weren't mentioned on any threads lol. But I suppose we all have different fits, especially at the PhD stage.

Still, I can't find much info related to my programs here so I would appreciate any insights. Intl applicant, by the way.

I just heard back from UChicago (Cancer Biology), only one interview option.

How are you scheduling 9 interviews? Have you just been lucky and they are all on different weekends?

Most of them had different weekend options that work for me. Also, for one of them, I had the alternative to schedule a Skype interview. Plus, I have two interviews scheduled back to back. I'm still hoping to hear back from one more which is on my top 3.

I'm glad it all worked out for you! I am waiting to hear from two of my top programs and I am worried about having to reschedule them but being busy the other weekend they offer.

Congrats on your invite to UCSD BMS! Does it seem that they're still sending any invites out? (Crossing my fingers as this seems it's going to be my only chance to stay in CA lol)

Yeah I definitely still think they are because I didn't get the official email until yesterday

So, when should we start freaking out and deciding plans for next year? I haven't heard back from any of my schools. No rejections, interview offers or acceptances. Apparently Einstein does waves and Boulder doesn't send out acceptances (no interviews) for their integrative physiology PhD program until March/April.

What Einstein program did you apply for? I applied for neurosciences and I haven't heard anything

I applied to pharmacology. But they’re still sending out invites I believe so you might hear later!

The priority deadline is 1/15 and the general deadline is something like 4/1, but you have to submit by 1/15 to be considered for fellowships and whatnot

For applicants who are also waiting for Princeton Molecular Biology, I contacted the coordinator and she said that they're still in the midst of the admissions/invitation process but hope to conclude it by the middle of next week. Fingers crossed!

Has anyone heard from Sloan Kettering? Is it possible that they haven't finished sending out invites?

GSK student here - campus visit and interviews are scheduled to start next Tuesday, so I doubt they'll be sending any more invites for that. Sorry!
