the8thguest Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 (edited) I applied for the Ed.M in the mental health counseling program and I haven't heard anything back yet. I just did my FAFSA the other day as well too. Anyone else still waiting who applied to this program? Edited March 11, 2020 by the8thguest

I e-mailed them last week and they said it said 7-8 weeks from the application deadline to hear back but on the website it says mid-March so hopefully we'll hear something by next week. ☺️ Have you tried the admitted students portal link like the others have?
irisjade Posted March 14, 2020 Author Posted March 14, 2020 For those who have been accepted, have you received an admissions package yet?

Yes I tried the link, but it said it was only available for admitted students. Not sure how it's worked for people in the past...
Tea_Drinker Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 For all the others who are still waiting to hear from TC like me, I emailed and heard back from admissions today that they are "on track to release decisions by the end of March". Hope this helps!

Hope this helps! It is honestly quite a negative experience to have to wait this long for a decision. I'm still waiting on the Ed Policy PhD program, and at this rate, I'm only going to have a few weeks before April 15th to make a decision for where I'm going.
croquemme Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Someone posted today in the survey that they got accepted to psych in education 2 weeks ago. My application status still hasn't change. Does that basically mean rejected at this point?

defcaffeinated Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Hope this is ok to ask, how much did people who have been accepted for masters programmes get in merit scholarships, and what scholarships did people get? (i.e. tc scholarship, departmental?)

Doctoral funding isn't really any better as far as I know.
Justice4All Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 Incoming doc student in psych. It's fully funded + 25,000 stipend
Tea_Drinker Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Check your email! I got an email from admissions to check my portal and found out that I got into IED program (masters)!

Probably will have a better idea after attending those webinars/virtual sessions.
ChatPerdu Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 Hello! Has anyone heard about Clinical Psych PhD decisions? I haven't seen anything about it on the results page. Thanks!
PopCultureScholar Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 Did anyone hear back from the Curriculum and Teaching Ed.D.?

Lydia Douglas Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 This is the first time I have heard of Columbia University College of Education. It is not surprising, because there are many colleges that do not advertise themselves, but simply do their job. But, unfortunately, not all educational institutions have adapted everything.
