Yeskay, I do think it is worth the wait. Very few people (at least in this forum) have got calls and that too without much details. Also, the interviews are going on. Some had interviews around the first week of February while I got only a day or so notice before my interview in the first week of march.

I think the information from them seem to be confusing.

In my opinion they are just still reviewing the applications and both, interview and admission phase are still ongoing. Maybe they have days to decide who will be interviewed and then days with the admission decision.

But on the other side, I can't imagine that they could afford to take to much time for both decisions since people have applied on many universities and they also have to decide where to go.

Furthermore they need to inform successful people about their funding. But this requires, that they are almost done with the admission.

Anyway, there is a lot of speculation and assuming. I hope, we all get clear information soon.

I wonder if they must be having priority candidates and those best individuals are in the first batch - already received admission. The rest (second lot) maybe getting calls through April, only IF the priority candidates refuse their offers?

I can't imagine that they are admitted already 60-80 persons and let the others wait until they may accept or not.

For this procedure, it would be necessary for the people to know if and how much funding they will receive. And since this has not been published yet, I think, they just admit a few people every week and wait for their response.

I also agree! I don't understand why they provide different information via email and even for you who received admission offer already, it is not yet clear if you receive funding and so on.

And I also don't understand why they sent you the notification and then an official admission again? Why not at the same time?

Well, let's see...

I'm sure its nice to receive early notification and know that you have been accepted. I agree it could be faster css_mpp but they were good enough to give you early notification.

It's only going to be frustrating and ridiculous if we are unsuccessful  :(

Mark,  early or late notification just about admission is not good enough mate until one knows the full details of the offer. Particularly for lower income families like my own as higher education is so expensive. That is the case with everyone, I think. Both my first priority programs (LKY and Berkeley MDP) have kept me in hanging for not so long but frustrating period of time regarding scholarship details. But lets all hope for the best!

@cs_mpp:

I can understand that so much and even for me, I would require some funding to make the little dream possible.

I guess, that is the reason why they sent you an early notification, so that you know "at least" that you are successful. But as you said, it is more or less useless unless you do not know if you are getting funding or not.

But hey, maybe they are just super busy and admission is difficult this year.

Let's just hope so..I got a response from the admissions dept (Mr. Low) - written that interviews are going to continue till the end of April and accepts would be given in batches. Have asked him about the scholarships, no response yet..super busy I guess. Or simple pissed with so many people asking questions

Good day,

I'm so sorry for the late response. I received the admission offer on the 20th of March( gladly it was also my birthday). I'm now waiting for the financial aid information. Btw I applied for MPA.

Best of luck to those who are yet to receive their admission offers.
