  1. * you have 41 posts instead of 1 post like other askers * so please answer all the questions so far as they're relevant to your question only question i have is what research have you done on your own question so far? but i dont care that much and you seem to not be satisfy with any responses possibly made so here's your answer -- https://www.timeshighereducation.com/world-university-rankings/2017/subject-ranking/clinical-pre-clinical-health#!/page/0/length/50/sort_by/rank/sort_order/asc/cols/stats BU is slightly better than NYU for a mph i would pick BU and spend my time doing more important things, but im not you oh wait i have one more question, * why do you feel that comparable city would to better to study a pretty general topic?
  2. you'll be fine, you just do your best and keep learning * any other questions?
  3. "no real coherent topic" im very interested to hear your argumentation and evidence on this claim please free feel to present it please try to put them in bullet points from top to bottom for easier reading as they do in real life in the real world * what school did you go to btw? im just curious is all
  4. 'impossible to read' (almost) if this is verifiably true, and presuming it's 'like a stream of conciousness' * then why am i and other educated ppl able to comprehend content that are similar? * & why do linguists and other relevant ppl say that there are semantics in such? if this is verifiably true that is -- for clarity, verifiably would be based on science & testing
  5. hey! thanks for your post! could you please answer these questions as effectively as you can so that the best answer may be given? * what are your goals? * what exactly is your question? * what exactly is the problem? * what are the facts i should know? * what research have you done so far on your question? remember to bold anything important -- like your question
  6. * what school is it? * communication is one the most basic and most important talent, most of the ppl asking questions and in general do not have this basic talent * question/goal first-line > Which field would professionally enable me to pursue the 'most' of my interests, with respect to my current qualifications and employability of the degree? the degree does not employ, the person is what is hired likes/interests are the most important thing, but likes change since it's pretty impossible to predict what you future self would like we need to base the decision on current likes: * International Political Economy * Economic history, specifically sanctions, conflict in the context of the liberal world order (military, diplomatic and economic), * American Grand Strategy, deterrence, foreign aid and the weaponization of second world countries by first world countries through investment, proxy players and their effects on the global economy, * formation and break up of supernational government organizations and the reactions of G20 governments to global economic developments hmm.. i dont support your dream because of how ineffectual this entire field is but you should always chase w/e your current dream is but we also need to consider the useful/practical as this was also mentioned hmm... well, we don't have the data.... actually you got me sidetracked, because you're talking about all these unimportant things let's go back to the top --- the first & single most important thing about this decision is that none of it matters the person is what gets hired, not the piece of paper * ppl major or double-major in all kinds of things prior to med school -- for all kinds of reasons, one of them being that they enjoy it * there are thousands of different examples --- if you are interested in those things, then you should be reading the leading resources on those topics AND topics you assume would not relate that would do you more good than what anyone could say
  7. * you dont seem very researched at all, why haven't you done your own research on your question? 1 the most important about recommendation letters is a good one, that's the most important thing 2 why dont you ask her? ask her, see #1 3 honesty, you should be honest but honesty is not the most effective thing, the most effective way of handling 'weakness' type questions is to mention a minor weakness, and countering it, which shows reasoning/selling skills but anything that asks a direct or generic 'weakness' question isn't anything looking at or going to or anything --- this entire process is about making good decisions, i shouldn't be giving you the answers
  8. * why limit yourself to v-tech? * what research have you done on your question thus far?
  9. * what school is it? * what's your practise gre score? * academics as it currently is a no-fail system, you mess up early on, you're screw later on, that's how it currently works * what's your goals in life?
  10. have you found some solution that works for you yet? i use onenote, and other software one problem is finding what you're looking for, not able to able to find specific things within extensive extensive notes is a common problem and where your notes are onenote has very limited search as you know many other problems, won't go into it... if you take extensive notes, what solutions works for you? -- the key problem is that the software isn't designed well paper is highly limiting, and software solves a bunch of those ills but the software has lots of constraints and limits as have been said on the Web it would be good if ppl in the world could make something actually innovative though i know it's a similar problem with todos -- https://www.reddit.com/r/productivity/comments/6ecusr/i_pretty_much_wasted_a_whole_day_trying_out/ -- [ this is for users that take extensive notes ] -- any good solutions on finding/structuring/sorting notes?
  11. * there are books and resources related to this already * have you read and learnt all you can on the relevant and non-relevant (but fascinating) topics? why merely hope and be dependent on others? -- https://www.hks.harvard.edu/degrees/registrar/procedures/requirements/mpp * are we also going to merely hope for the future of society? is this pattern going to continue for lifetimes upon lifetimes? * given the incredible lack of comparative progress & innovation -- in some unmentionable fields & areas
  12. i'll predict that the odds are slim to none for all of the 'backwards' type let's look at a case example: * i voiced some concerns * and instead of others learning, or even trying to learn, these other ppl would vote your concerns down this illustrates the fundamental problem with some types of ppl, and the fundamental problem overall and worst, there's plenty (in proportion and quantity) of these types of ppl in the world
  13. * please mention all the research you've done so far
  14. * what is your room renting experience thus far?
  15. * what did your professors say? * what other research have you done?
  16. * well, there are no better solutions currently are there? * most, but not all, have you not run across any that are local/domestic related * almost all the top schools would enable anyone to do anything they want * the top schools would always be the best for anything in every area * please feel free to provide any case examples contrary to the above
  17. i likely shouldn't start this of, or be the one to point out: * so your exact wording was: "I was just wondering how you got in, GPA, GRE, etc. " * & not "rather what was their GPA, GRE scores, how involved they were, etc." -- but it's too late now, and i got a wonderful firecracker here, and it's not even the 4th of july yet ~~ { Being Open To The Life Out There } an uncertain life is what leads to a more beautiful life. so you want to know what are the likely reasons for why they got in but knowing so does not do you much good besides you gaining the feeling of certainty, and thereby, comfort many of times, being open to the life out there would be at a distance from comfort like high on a spaceX rocket to mars in ~2050 or so so high & at a distance from the comfort of our small town that we are, so habitually acquainted with, and all so used to in lord of the rings, the only thing I can remember was when a noblegirl was asked: 'What do you fear, lady? and Eowyn says, 'A cage. To stay behind bars, until use and old age accept them, and all chance of doing great deeds is gone beyond recall or desire.' being open to the life out there is to accept -- and thereby to gain some comfort in -- the beautiful uncertainty of life ~~ i could give you and link to the direct answers to your curiosity, but as is the case with some kinds of learnings (not all), it would not do you much good -- besides that feeling of comfort & certainty
  18. * there's 1 to 1 billion reasons why
  19. i wasn't really going to say anything, but then... bang! 'think state government and action-oriented think tanks are where most innovation will take place in the next decade-plus' -- * holy smokes.... the naivety is extreme "third-industrial-revolution economy" * government ppl... it's call the computer revolution or something like that --- but at least they start off with good intentions... isn't that how it always is... until we (as a society) lose them to politics or w/e other nonsense.... sigh :/
  20. * isn't it interesting how not a single person replied to their own question... (edit: oh that's a different person.... ha) * then again, you at least have more than 1 post...... * if you already picked a school, what's the goals of your question? * how come you haven't looked at any ranking yet?
  21. * please explain in detail & fully why you * 'feel' * like you need it edit: well surely shouldn't even try to help anyone who has negative feedback to explaining themselves fully *sigh*
  22. * please post your question as the first line * please explain why do you write UoE if anyone knows what that is? there are thousands if no millions of schools in this world
  23. * what research have you done on your question? post here
  24. * have you called them yet? * what research have you done related to your question?
  25. * what are your goals? * do you enjoy your goals?
