I didn't see a thread for Canadian schools so I made one! This is for both domestic and international students applying for Communication programs in Canada. I'm applying to Carleton (PhD) this year. Their deadline is 31 January and from what I read on their website, they're aiming to send out offers in March. Anyone else applying to Carleton?

Do you mean the email with your application ID and password? I received those, as well as the email with my JOIN ID. This was back in December. After I uploaded my documents, my application status also changed to "Under Review" (meaning the graduate assistant has received them and manually changed the status)

I don't know about that, sorry. But one of my friends received their OISE (MA in Counselling? I'm not sure about the details) offer in the mail also in March. No online updates, they had to find out in the mail

I would phrase your question as "What is the funding package like for admitted students?" and depending on their reply, ask for more details. I'm assuming the funding package will come with the formal offer email. Congrats!

I don't think it's necessarily true! Many US universities haven't released the results yet. I've applied to UofT iSchool and I can't wait to hear back from them. My application is also "under review." From what I've heard from past years, they tend to release results in March. Finger crossing!

I'm applying to the PhD program. Haven't heard back yet, but like Stephers96 said and from what I have read about previous years, they seem to send out offers and rejections in March.
