Hi!!! Did you (or anyone) ever figure out this info about FAFSA? I need to call the financial aid office and chat with them but also don't want to ask super obvious questions. I feel really in the dark about all of it though! -
Is anyone else worried about this?

On their website (https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/types/loans/plus/grad-professional#eligibility) it says that if you don't have good credit you have these options: Obtaining an endorser who does not have an adverse credit history. An endorser is someone who agrees to repay the grad PLUS loan if you do not repay it. Documenting to the satisfaction of the U.S. Department of Education that there are extenuating circumstances relating to your adverse credit history. -

I'm also worried about this! I don't have too much debt from undergrad but will be taking out the max federal loan (~20K) and will still owe around 10K + living expenses. I haven't talked with the financial aid office yet, but I'm assuming the only way to have the rest of this covered is through private loans, right? Leaving out options of scholarships, assistantships, and work study (want to plan for worst case). Does anyone have any experience obtaining private loans? Are they fairly easy to get? -

Is anyone attending the Admitted Students Day on April 5 (or other dates)? I'm most likely going to accept my MedSLP offer but I'd really like to visit UW and Seattle before doing so as I've never been and it will be a really big move for me across the country. However, the deposit is due shortly after that and I'm afraid that I'll be really stretched thin for money after buying my flight, airbnb, etc. for the visit - I can make it work, but it will just be really financially stressful to do, haha. Does anyone have any advice? Should I just plan on attending the online session instead? -

Has anyone heard from UofL recently? I haven't since my interview on 3/1 and curious when they'll be sending out decisions, or if they have been already and I just haven't heard! Edit: just kidding, just checked my email and had one from them. Ignore!- 11 replies

Following! Good question and very interesting. Do you (or does anyone) happen to know if it's possible or common to become involved in ROTC for the first time at the graduate level? Have always looked into it but ended up not doing it in undergrad.
