UIUC Applicants - I've emailed the department and was told that faculty are currently reviewing all applications and typically begin interviews in February, sending letters of notification as early as mid-Feb and as late as mid-March. If you're not contacted for an interview by end of February, it does not mean that you won't be asked to interview. Hope that helps!!

Good luck to everyone! I deduced that I received 0 invites this cycle and will try my best for the next cycle. For those with even just a single interview, know that hundreds of applicants would die to be in your shoes. I'm a bit heartbroken (0 invites from 10+ applications), but also have the foresight and resilience to get through another year. I'm just happy I get to finally take off these worry pants and go back to the focused grind.

It also depends on where you apply, my list of schools I'm pretty sure I've been rejected by now but there's schools that notify significantly later than others. My first round applying too, gotta stay positive! Most people I've talked to didn't get in first try.

I’d say around mid-Feb since, at that point, most schools have had their interviews. Hang in there!! And if you don’t get in, don’t give up on your dreams! I didn’t get any interviews my first time applying and I applied a second time and things are going way better than last year  fingers crossed for you. 

I'm one of the few who have received a decision this early, so I'll give as much info as I can and answer some of the questions I see here using what I know from my very small sample size.
The email I got wasn't an official offer from the UCLA graduate division, more of a welcome from the sociology department itself with some details about the offer and visit days in March. It seems like UCLA is rolling out acceptances gradually. I didn't get notified on the same day as others on the results board.
I got the email around 10:30am Pacific time.
This hasn't changed at all for me for UCLA. The portal still looks exactly the same, and the status check that UCLA grad division offers doesn't even have a decision on file for me. Only one of my applications (UToronto) shows "under review," the others just say submitted or received.
So... now back to worrying about all the rest of my applications! XD (Not that this hasn't eased some of the anxiety.)

Hi! Just wanted to mention that I received an invite via email today to Notre Dame's Prospective Students day. I am so excited because this is one of my favorite programs. Good luck to anyone else who applied there!

I think By mId feb most of the colleges will release their decision. This week might be for UCB, UIC, UToronto, UWisc-Madison and UChicago.

First cycle I got zero interview ? (GRE quant score was super low) and 2nd cycle I got 5 formal interviews, 1 offer, and 1 wait-list (improved GRE quant lol). Ended up declining the offer in the 2nd cycle due to fit with the program. Fingers crossed that I won't have to do a 4th cycle ?

All is well my dude. You have 3 interviews to clinical psychology programs; the most competitive graduate degree in the country.
There will always be someone with more interviews, more publications, and a higher salary. This field is filled with rejection at every step of your career. Schools will reject you, internships will toss your application in the trash, and reviewers will tear your manuscripts to shreds.
It sounds like you worked hard to get where you are. But there are others who worked just as hard who have weaker applications because their PI wasn't a productive scholar or who couldn't afford to volunteer for 20 hours a week.
You've made it pretty far. There are thousands of qualified people who would kill to be in your shoes. I urge you to be grateful and enjoy the process.

I have very similar stats, plus a Master's degree in experimental psychology, near perfect research interest matches, and I haven't gotten a single interview. I understand it's frustrating but at least you have interviews, and you only need one to say yes to get into a program. 

I promise this is my last post about dying inside due to Minnesota.
But this. Me until (and probs after) the announcement.

If any of you are wondering, Iowa State is done sending out invites. I got an email from the program director today that they finished sending them all out. I was told that I'm "on hold" which means they might extend an offer to me if they go through all their interviewees and don't offer them admission (very rare so I'm crossing it off my list.)

Definitely not a mass email - there is still hope!!  

Got an email today from UAB’s clinical program... wishing me a happy birthday ? It would have been happier if they'd have sent me an interview invite, even a rejection at this point ?

Montclair did send out invites with an interview day off 2/6 and 2/7. I'm sorry!

All of these timelines given by programs are so frustrating..."in the next few weeks" blah blah blah
I need a specific day and time, programs! Down to the second, dang it!
