From their info session online, review timeline is Dec-Feb, decisions will come March for DrPH apps. All decisions will come out the same time a with no rolling admissions. DrPH Hopeful 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 Share Posted January 7, 2022 Based on last year’s forum, it looks like first round of interview requests for Harvard and Boston University DrPH programs went out this week last year. I met with the DrPH Program Director and one other faculty. In addition to standard interview questions (why this degree, why this school, etc.) they asked "what do you think is the most pressing public health issue of our time". I was able to ask them what values they look for in students. It was a very smooth interview, and we went beyond the 45 min allotted time. I received an offer 10 days later. I receive financial support through my employer. Additionally, the NYU program provides a small stipend for incoming students. Happy to answer any other questions! DrPH Hopeful 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 Share Posted January 7, 2022 I just received an interview request for Boston University's DrPH program. Based on their automated scheduling link it looks like there are interview slots open through February 11th. Not sure if that is just for first rounds (or if there even are second rounds). Anyone from last year's cycle checking this forum that had an interview with BU? Any tips on the interview process? What types of questions did they ask? And how soon after the interview did you hear back? Best of luck to everyone. Keeping my fingers crossed for more interviews and at least one acceptance! I am an international student and my research interests might or might not fit with the program, so this could be for clarifications etc. (especially given the challenging funding situation for international students?) I don't know if interview is a required component. Based on my understanding UNC tends to have a long stream of admissions etc.and different departments run differently. I see that some received an invite to an interview for Harvard PHS- EH track, Congratulations! I wonder which specialisations received emails so far, and if I should consider myself rejected if I haven't heard anything back until now? Can anyone kindly share some information in case of an invite? i.e., if it was from a PI or the department, international/domestic, which other schools applied to etc. I asked how the interview process goes, but haven't heard anything back from the office. I applied to Harvard, Columbia, Brown, Yale, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford. All EH or Epi.
