Got my second rejection today. This one hurts a little more.
I applied to some far-reach schools that I'm not expecting to get into (Stanford, UCLA, UCSD), but UC Davis was within my reach (I had the exact stats they were looking for!). UC Davis has a great program, in a great little town. I knew I wasn't a traditional student, but was hoping they could see my passion and other great qualities. Unfortunately I received my rejection earlier this morning I'm feeling really bummed about it... more so than if/when I'm rejected from my far-reach schools. I want to feel happy for the admits, but I'll need to shake off this "woe is me" feeling first...
