  1. Thank you for finding out this info!
  2. I'm still waiting to hear from: Eastern WA (interviewed), Pacific (interviewed, decisions have already gone out to many folks), SFSU (interviewed), Chapman, Redlands, Old Dominion, Florida Atlantic, and LIU Post (interviewed).

  4. It makes me feel better that others haven't heard back as well. I think I'm going to refrain from emailing until April 3rd (first Monday in April) which is going to be my universal email all programs I haven't heard back from date, hahaha.
  5. My CSUF portal says still pending. I assume that means rejected (or waitlist at the very most).
  6. Anyone else still also waiting on Pacific?
  7. I totally agree. I've read on the forums that some schools just don't let you know at all if you were rejected. How frustrating.
  8. NYU sent out a round of acceptances last week
  9. Most folks won't get off a waitlist until after April 15th. The week after April 15th I expect a chunk to get acceptances, and then after that it's a very slow trickle. I still haven't even heard from Pacific, haha.
  10. I was commuting from East Bay into SF for a year. The commute was 1.5 hours one way on public transit which included driving to the train station, waiting, the train ride (50 minutes), waiting, then the bus ride (10-12 minutes). Distance was 28 miles. Wasn't ideal, but wasn't awful.
  11. As a fellow Californian who has never been to Virginia, I looked into Radford when searching for schools. My New Jersey native professor discouraged me from applying to Radford, not because of the program, but because she said it didn't give out a college town social vibe, was a bit in the middle of nowhere, and leaned conservatively (which were three things that were important to avoid in my search). Overall: I've heard Virginia is breathtakingly beautiful! I'm not sure how much you use social media, but I just searched Radford, VA on Instagram and it came up with a beautiful!! white and brick campus building with sunshine pouring through, and the caption of spring break. I've also found that searching the city forums here, or "should i move to radford" on google can come up with some great forum posts from other forums about the area.
  12. I forget that applicants exist that aren't also obsessively checking this forum, the results, and their email!
  13. I thought we were all going to be notified in that one week...also I'm surprised that I saw rejections yesterday, but then waitlists today lol. I'm hoping we hear Monday.
  14. Thanks girl! I saw today that decisions are still!? coming out...hopefully we'll hear back soon. I would rather know than be left in the dark lol.
  15. That irks me when programs do that! If you're worried about not having enough on the waitlist, just waitlist extra and say the waitlist is unranked, but actually have it ranked. That's so unfair to students who are left in the dark.
  16. Sooo rumor has it they admit 30 students total. 15 SFSU current students & alumni, and 15 from other schools. Apparently this practice is common with most CSU campuses.
  17. I assume? they're basing it on collaboration/ eloquence in speaking / contribution / confidence. From what I've heard among classmates who also interviewed is that pretty much everyone's group reached a conclusion quickly, and felt that everyone participated equally haha. I think attending the interview in person definitely gets extra points versus someone who did Skype, though.
  18. SAME! My interview time was 9am, and at 8:58 I'm over here trying to get Skype to work, haha. I'm hoping to reduce my email checking from every hours to a few times a day.
  19. Hopefully you'll hear back soon! That makes me nervous- I interviewed 3/6 and am hoping to hear back soon so I can at least know my final results ha.
  20. I'm still in the dark! I thought out of all of my interviews, my one at Pacific was actually the most eloquent...though it was my first interview, so my rate of speech was quicker. I'm surprised because of the rejections posted in results...I assumed? they would do everything in waves, but guess not, haha.
  21. I've seen on this forum that they do snail mail, though nothing confirmed. I hope its (just) not snail mail, and that we get an email too, haha.
  22. Congratulations on your acceptances, especially with your top choice! I feel similarly silly- I applied to a boatload of schools thinking I would have little to no luck being "average" and not wanting to spend the time and finances with potentially multi-year application cycles. For me it was also definitely having freedom that comes with being young/finishing up undergrad, and not having a family yet. Kind of a toss-up though with applicants each year, so better safe than sorry, haha!
  23. I'm feeling the same way (and I don't even have a family coming along; I saw you mentioning such in another post). It's a different reality when applying cross country versus realizing that it's potentially going to happen. EWU had no technical issues, and I thought that the interview wasn't bad either. I had to google "how to call someone on Skype" (instead of just accepting an incoming call) minutes before the interview was supposed to take place, so that was a bit frazzling and something that I hadn't thought of earlier to practice. My patience with this cycle is slowly wearing down though, and I find myself checking my e-mail more and more. Just want full results so that the reality of what's happening come Fall can start to play out!
  24. Thank you for your insight! Not a peep! I really want to hear any decision from West Coast schools as those are my "tops", but c'est la vie. Best of luck to you in your wait, too!
  25. We were totally in the same interview, haha! I'm terrible at names/faces myself, but I was the girl in the blue dress from SF (who screwed up our introductions thinking they were supposed to be super short lmao)
