Yes, I'm so happy I got in and I'm excited to go. I also worry what if they expect that I learned more in undergrad than I really did? Or what If I forget everything? I am worried about this too - it's overwhelming not knowing what it's going to be like and how much I'm excepted to already know.

I'll probably do the same thing as @hiimkhanh... I'm 2 years out of school and sure hope that I can cram all the info I learned in college before I start grad school!!!

Don't worry! Lots of people come in from out of field and have different experiences with prereqs (for instance, it can be hard to retain information if you take a 5-week class and have to cram everything in). There WILL be some review at the beginning of each class. If you are looking for specific things to review, I think IPA, basic anatomy of the larynx, and neuro would be most helpful--nothing too crazy, maybe just general stuff like what basic things happen in each lobe, basic structure of the larynx, etc. IPA is also super helpful but again, there will be some review, so don't waste your summer by cramming all day!

This makes me feel so much better! My program starts in June so i'll only have about two weeks between graduation and start of grad school.

I agree with @bibliophile222, review some basic basic things if you feel the need to.

Personally, I’d recommend that you really enjoy your summer. Hang out with family and friends. Go on a cruise, take a vacation somewhere, something that you’ve been wanting to do, but haven’t had the chance. Once grad school starts all of that time to do things for yourself kind of goes out the window. My biggest regret was not taking advantage of my summer before my first semester.

Your classes should review things that you learned in your post-bacc or undergrad, and go into those subjects more in depth. We did this in my program at least.

Congrats on getting accepted!

Totally feel you! But trust yourself!  I keep reminding myself that even if I did forget some things, it's not like I've never seen them. You'll relearn without even knowing. It's not a foreign language, we know so much more than we think we do! Trust your abilities!! (This is advice for me as well lmao)
