i have yet to hear from salus in general. when did you apply?

I heard back from Salus last thursday, 3/29 and was placed in their waitlist. I had applied during the first or second week of January and had interviewed in early February.

I know they are still conducting interviews every Monday, and now that their rolling admission deadline is over I'm sure they must be circling back to applications that did not receive interviews yet. They are definitely still reviewing applications.

I'm they've been so silent with you, I hope you hear back soon. Have you tried following up with them? It can't hurt to ask for a status update, especially now that their application deadline has passed.

Waitlisted at 4 schools; waiting on Salus, West Chester, and Bloomsburg. Interviewed at Salus in Feb.

Updating my status for these schools; I was accepted to WCU yesterday and BloomU on 3/28. Salus placed me on their standby list on 3/29; I do not plan to stay on the waitlist.

I'm a re-applicant and applied to St Johns last year, I know they had like an unofficial waitlist, and waited until the program was filled up with students. But I know this is the first year they are doing a Fall only admittance and so spring admissions, so I know they said they were going to accept more students to the cohort. But I think it might be different this year because not a lot of people have heard back or have put up that they have been accepted, and some people that have been accepted chose different programs already so I'm hoping for some good news soon! Good Luck hope that helps a little haha

Do you mind posting your stats/experience? It's okay if you would rather not. Thanks again for your answer! I am going to contact them!

Hi, how did you hear from WCU? Was it an email or a paper letter?

Has anyone heard back from these schools yet? I haven't heard a peep from them yet, and it is getting closer to April 15th...

- Tennessee Sate University (online spring 2019)

- Nova Southeastern University

- Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions

Getting so anxious!!!

I'm an out of major applicant; I have a 3.55 GPA; my GRE is V156 Q145 W4. (Before applying I had scheduled a visit with an admissions staff member and they told me that my stats were within the range of past accepted students. At the meeting I had talked about my concerns about lack of experience because I am switching careers but they did not seem concerned; he said that many students come in with little to no real world experience.

I suspect I got the interview in part because I had shown interest in the program back in Oct, long before I applied, and because of my essay. (At my interview the admissions counseler who reviewed my file complimented that my statement was well written.) Still, it clearly it wasn't given much weight beyond securing an interview, haha.

Ultimately, I think I didn't click well enough with the staff member who interviewed me. I was nervous and it showed. Also, I know a couple out of major applicants from my pre-graduate program who were accepted before I had my interview, so I assume that may have played a factor too.

Email, but it was my WCU student email (I'm currently a pre-graduate student there) . They did not send anything to my personal email, which is the email attached to my CDSCAS account.

The email I did receive was very vague; it didn't even list the SLP program, just the 'graduate program' for which I applied to. It was just to say I had been accepted and that an official acceptance and admissions packet would be arriving soon. I believe it was a courtesy email sent to current students, so don't panic. I suspect that that admissions packet, which I have not received yet, is their only way of notifying accepted students otherwise.

No problem! Thank you, but I'm actually not going to accept the waitlist offer; I hope this helps you out in securing an interview.

It definitely betters my chances thank you!

I have not. I emailed them and they said they already sent out their first wave of acceptances and I probably won't hear back until after April 15th. Needless to say I won't be attending.
