Has anyone not heard back from Berkeley yet or been put on the waitlist? Or has anyone not been accepted?

I'm still waiting to hear back and I'm assuming it's because I haven't been accepted but am unsure.

haven’t heard back either;( been anxiously waiting all week and also kinda prepared for bad news at this point

Are you leaning towards UNC or Seattle U?

Probably SU, since I’m in Seattle now and not sure that moving across the country currently sounds that appealing. It’s also way cheaper for me since I’d be out of state at UNC. I’m really crossing my fingers for UW though?

Hello! Great news on the interview, I also applied to CSUF but have yet to hear back for an interview. When did you apply? And are you interested in calswec ? I noticed that many people who apply the stipend in their applications tend to hear back first. Good luck to you! Good things coming your way : )

I applied in late December. I didn't apply to calswec because I want to concentrate in Mental Health.

Okay! I believe I applied for the same concentration, thanks for letting me know. If you remember any of the questions after your interview pls let me know! You've got this!

I saw posts earlier so thought I might contribute but not sure if anything of this will be helpful! For context I applied for advanced standing at all of these!

1. UMich(accepted 2/1). Financial aid notice sent later but I had to ask if they could send it a little early due to another schools deadline. Received 70k in scholarships and grants for the year.

2. UChicago(accepted 2/5). 33K scholarship included in letter but haven't received formal financial aid letter yet. Also submitted an appeal asking for more funds on 2/28 and have not heard back yet.

3. UW (accepted 2/19). Immediately sent info about finding a field placement but have not heard anything about financial aid.

4. PSU (accepted 3/2) have not heard anything and financial aid nor has there been any other followup.

5. UC Berkeley (rejected 3/3)

I am still waiting for Columbia and WUSTL!! Not sure if this helps people have context and timeline but thought maybe it would ?

Has anyone else not heard back from Berkeley yet? I expected to hear back today since they said decisions would be released the week of March 1, but still have not heard anything. Do you think they will release decisions this weekend?

I applied 12/1! Are you still waiting on a decision? They’re being so slow with everyone, hang in there!

Thanks I applied a week before the deadline. I have a ways to go lol. Congratulations again!!

Hey! I heard back three days ago that I was rejected... So I wouldn't assume that not hearing back means bad news.

Hey friends! This past week, I was rejected from Berkeley, and accepted to UW last night. I still have to hear back from UCLA, PSU, Minnesota Twin Cities, and UT Austin.

I almost applied to a couple other schools where I knew I'd be a shoe-in and potentially receive funding, just so I could use it as leverage in asking other schools to offer/increase their funding. I didn't up doing so (got burnt out), but still could for a couple programs with late deadlines. Just curious - does anyone have experience appealing for more money? And if so, did funding offers from other schools provide meaningful leverage? Or were you able to get some by merely making a good case, independent of other offers?

Thanks so much! Pretty stoked to have gotten into my first school!

Did anyone waiting for Columbia put down a deposit anywhere else? I am concerned about getting a good field placement if I wait to put a deposit and end up not even getting into Columbia.

I put down a deposit and have already submitted my field application documents. I’m advanced standing and start in the specialist year. Field placement opportunities has been my my upmost concern.

Is anyone else having to put down deposits before hearing from all your schools? Most schools I've been accepted to want to know my decision by mid-march but some schools I most likely won't here from until April. I don't want to lose my spot at schools I did get accepted to in case I don't get into the others or if they don't financially work for me.

Have you asked for an extension on your decision deadline? I was able to get an extension from USC and it looks like I'll need to ask for one from NYU soon as well. I'm still waiting to hear from Columbia, Hunter, Smith, and UMich and at this rate I'm not optimistic I'll have all my answers by the end of the month.
